- Diesel is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and has been the best dog any family could hope for. Sadly, he passed away of Kidney Failure, despite the Vet's best efforts. We already miss his smile and gentle, puppy spirit. This video will be a constant reminder of his personality and loving temperament.
Diesel, I will always love you. You left too soon and my heart feels empty without you.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Animals are super smart, and I truly believe that Diesel knew what was to come, and went before you, so you two could be reunited. This hurts my heart. 💔

I'm a firm believer that they return in due time. I've had 4 in my life that were different breeds but I swear to you they had the same kind & loving soul as well as a unique odd quirk my Bobo had so many years ago.

Crying with you sweetie watching this beautiful video, Mel I saw your Instagram last night and my heart was breaking for you, I’ve lost 3 furbabies and I miss them all the time. Our fur babies become our children and family. It is so difficult to let them go. The time we have them in our lives is so short and that is the reason they are so precious. Diesel was blessed to have your love as you were to have his. Diesel will always be with you and you will always carry him in your thoughts and memories. I'm so very sorry Mel for your loss. Losing a fur baby is awful. I just had to put down my sweet 19 yr old cat, Daphne 3 weeks ago. I was devastated. 2 years prior, we had to rush my sweet boy, Jake, the best kitty to the ER, where we had to put him to sleep. I still cry over them. They are our children. Diesel knew just how much he was loved by your family. You can tell by the videos and photos. Sending love and hugs to you and your family. 💗🐶😢
Our fur babies always leave before we’re ready to let them go. I believe they are in Heaven selecting the perfect backyard for us to be in together.

My heart feels so empty too, Simon got me through the pandemic, followed me everywhere and his hugs and unconditional love were everything. Thanks for loving Diesel and giving him such a great life. We also lost our beloved wheaten Murphy two weeks ago, he was the most joyful loving and wonderful friend. He was taken ill and we lost him in less than an hour, our hearts are broken. We were so lucky to have 11 wonderful years, these dogs are one in a million. Sending condolences and hugs for your loss

Ahh Mel I’m SO sorry about your loss! I can’t believe you had a Wheaten as I have had 2 of them! My 1st Wheaten sweet Andy passed away 2 years ago and now we have an 8 month old Wheaten Teddy! They are the best breed!! My husband says “when you come home their is nothing like the WHEATEN GREETIN’! Haha Wheatens are the most sweet, crazy, & stubborn pups! Lol 💖❤️💖❤️

I can't keep watching this. My dog died the week before Christmas in 2020 and I'm still heartbroken.
