It changed my life . I was out of pain for two months post infusion.
Works so well for extreme pain instead of pills. Gives back your life a lil. You have to do it every two weeks. You have to do it 6-8 sessions. It’s safe and affective. I have severe pain in my back. My feet my whole body. Injections for my spine have stopped helping because my degenerative back issues is just so bad. Been a runner for 30 years ate healthy no drinking or smoking. It’s the last bit of help that was offered. Thk God it helps.
I receive ketamine for peripheral neuropathy which I was told is an off-label use. It is five days in a hospital. The pain relief is remarkable. The treatments are every four months. Medicare pays for most of this, and secondary health insurance covers the remainder.
Where is this done at please? It's 300 here in PA and not covered. I have BC & Medicare

This treatment is at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto.
It's also done at Johns Hopkins.
My treatment is covered by Medicare.
Other insurance doesn't necessarily cover this off-label use of ketamine.
Confirm? I was told it still is not FDA approved for pain. It is for depression, ptsd anxiety, etc. I am starting therapy today, and it is costing me 3100.00 for multiple 4-hour sessions. I am a BKA with horrible nerve and phantom limb pain. Praying this works, I have tried everything else. TmR surgery made things worse....
