The cost of a player is not just about the transfer fee, but also the salary and bonus payments.

I'll never understand why people say he costs more then Haaland. Halland's transfer fee was 60 mil. EUR and his agent's fee was 40 mil. EUR, so it's about the same as Darwin. Comparing Haaland and Nunez was always a stupid thing, I understand why people did, but they couldn't be more different players.
Nunez is far more Mobile, better on the ball and a better passer than Haaland.
Haaland is a pure goal scorer and doesn't have that much else in his game, he might improve that later though as he ages.
Also I don't think Haaland would ever work in the Klopp system but I do think Nunez could work in a pep system.

You already see what he produces when he gets it right. If he improves, you'll see more of that!

for me it’s always just been the fact that the chances he misses, so many of them are sure fire goals. and then he scores crazy difficult goals. so that dichotomy would be harder for stats to show. whereas with other more typical strikers like haaland, they will more often score the easier goals and miss the tougher ones
like nuñez misses goals you barely see missed even in sunday league😂

No worries bro, we LFC fans know that Darwin sometimes miss easy chances before scoring a worldie. We know he's not perfect but we love him since his game is so much more than scoring goals. Darwin's a more complete forward than Haaland imo. Our agent of chaos 🔥🔥

Not entirely unrelated but this anime, Hungry heart wild striker the MC reminds me of Nunez abit 😅 the initial temperament, trackback to defend, the wildshots its uncanny.
Exciting to watch him play, I hope he keeps growing and stays at Liverpool for a long time.

Comparing the fee to Haaland isn't fair. Man City are paying INSANE wages for Erling.

Do some research Haaland was way more than Nunez. Haaland 60 down 400k a week, 500k a week in easy bonus money. 45m a year x5 225m plus 60m , 285m contract. Darwin 85m 150k a week 7.5m x5, 37.5m plus 85m, 122.5 million. 5 year cost, 122.5m is not more than 285m. Just because the money is transferred in wage bonus directly to Haaland vs Borussia doesn't make it free. This is why you want to have a lower buy out. The extra 120 million under transfer market value went straight to the Haaland family..

If Xabi does come I think he will be the catalyst to helping Darwin reach his potential and if that is the case he is going to dominate the league because he will become clinical and absolutely unpredictable and be a real Captain of Chaos

Wrong darwin 64m rising to 81m. Haaland 51m but lets forget his dads 20m+ and agents fee of 30m. Haaland true cost was 100m+. Of course city wouldnt want the narrative to say this because they would have an extra couple of charges added to the 115.

A Darwin no le interesa Haaland además son jugadores muy diferentes.
Darwin es mucho más completo como jugador.
Además Liverpool en general juega para Salah mientras que el City juega para Haaland

The thing is, yes, he's one of the best strikers in the league, however, it's not about numbers, it's clear that he misses 100% scoring chances. That's his only problem.
Of course all strikers miss a lot of chances, but the ones Nuñez miss are Werner and Sterling type of chances!

This is exactly it....99% of the haters are from other teams. Obviously we would love to see him use every chance, but the thing is that these Chances wouldnt even be there if he hadnt been on the pitch really.
