These rebounds are leading to DEN having 10-15 more shots than us per game. Of course you’ll lose unless EVERYTHING goes perfect. Malone over there laughing on the inside like these stupid mofos. We have an edge. But so does DEN and when we CHOOSE to NOT adjust to theirs, theirs is greater. DEN is huge. You fight size with size. Play Hayes + AD + LBJ and even Rui and now you 2 7 footers 6’9 and 6’8 and DEN edge is neutralized. It’s different ball game for AG going up for a board vs Hayes or AD. But AD can’t get the rebound when he’s STRATEGICALLY pulled away from the rim into the 2man game between Murray and Joker. I’d aim for at least 10-15mpg for LBJ AD and Hayes on the court together. Because I’ll tell another thing, DEN cannot stop us offensively.

You fight size with size. It’s crazy Ham will run 3-4 guard lineup with 6’3” dudes but won’t run a BIG lineup with 2 7 footers. AD Hayes LBJ is a huge frontline to contend with. All those 2nd chance opportunities aren’t advantageous to DEN if you do that. But Ham won’t even TRY it. I know Malone laughing inside like these stupid mofos over there smh. They’re pulling AD from the rim with the Jokic Murray 2 man game and camping AG in the dunkers spot to clean up any misses. Won’t get them all, but basketball is a numbers game and if you have the size advantage, you’ll inevitably get more chances than not. I 💯 % guarantee Coach Spo/Pop wouldn’t sit there like a duck and get popped over and over again.
You're not realizing half of those rebounds Denver has are from people like LeBron ball watching and not boxing out. With the effort & mentality the team has there is zero chance of change.
Honestly, do you think Hayes is a starter? He was benched multiple times in the season and is the 12 man on the bench. You think the Nuggets can’t handle him. He has played, In the minutes he has played he has done nothing offensively or defensively.
@@jnachtig2 I’m not saying start him, but if AD went down, who’s next in line? Hayes has started and would start. My suggestion is when you make your first sub, bring Hayes in with some size. You could play all 3 for 10-20 mpg and it would make a difference. It’s a different ball game contending with AD or Hayes at the rim than anyone else. DEN knows this and they’re spamming it. It’s why despite having one of the best rebounders, we consistently get outrebounded. If playing him doesn’t work, then it doesn’t work. But Hams coaching lifeline is on the edge and his dumba$$ won’t exhaust all resources. Many coaches in NBA history have stepped outside of norm when need be. We’re talking about 11 straight losses. You gotta do SOMETHING different.

Yea I have looked at some stats....the nuggets have rpg lead by almost 10 per game. The lakers actually have the edge in fg% despite Denver being clearly a better half court offense. The biggest killer for the lakers have been the rebounds. Some minutes from Hayes would definitely help. Not like rui and dlo shooting lights out. Think game 4 will come down to rebounds again. If lakers can keep that close they can win a game or 2
Was a huge Lakers fan in the Kobe era. I’m getting really tired of this Lebron era that costs us so much and doesn’t produce enough.

Did anybody see Draymond Green's Podcast were he stated that the Warriors noticed a statistic on Jokic that Denver lost around 80% of their games where Jokic had 6 or fewer assists. So he said to beat Denver, they focused on stoping back cuts and stuff like that which made Jokic get fewer assists.
At one point in 2020 bubble, the Lakers found a solution how to stop the Nuggets, and that was making Jokic a scorer instead of having so many assists.

What an embarrassing moment for the Lakers. Because of their horrible mistakes after that bubble championship. So many mistakes. I hope this won't continue next season. It's frustrating how fast we rise and fall .
Even tho Ik this series is over but I still have a feelings that we can turn it around. These games have not been blow outs i think we are just one good play away from victory.
They haven’t been blowouts because Denver only turns it on when they have to at the end. They’re conserving energy for a deep run.
It’s coaching, we’re not so overmatched that we can’t win, but our coach is in WAY over his head, they hired a rookie coach with no history of championship pedigree to coach what was supposed to to be a championship level roster. Just the fact that the current starting five is like 20-8 since being put together and at one point in the season Ham had 3 of those guys coming off the bench…AT THE SAME TIME. I can’t entirely say Ham is the reason why we are losing to Denver, but he is the reason we’re the 7th seed and not the 2nd or 3rd seed, blew too many games trying to make sure his boys Cam and Taurean got their required 30 minutes
That's why I'm torn on winning tonight. If we push to 6 games and that saves Darvin I hate that idea.

Playoff physicality is too much for him. He does not do well with contact and avoids at all cost. That's ok during the regular season but in the playoffs you gotta be prepared for the game to get much faster and physical.

I just really hope this is a learning curve for us. I know every year we are at a contender expectation due to offseason trades and or picking up good players to help LeBron and AD. But to me it feels we lack the hunger of some other teams like Minnesota with Edward’s etc… Still though this team has the ability to play amazing it just depends on role players and or 3rd best or 4th best guys to give you consistent production in the regular season and playoffs.

As a fan, I no longer feel anger, I feel complete disappointment and absolute embarrassment for the Lakers! Game 2 loss sucked the life out of me as it did the Lakers’ players! The team has shown zero pride and looks demoralized. At this point, trying to win game 4 is useless!

As I've been saying Ham has got to go there's absolutely no way you can bring him back. Failing to use timeouts properly, Failing to call plays, failing to make in game adjustments etc are just a few. Then the roster needs some type of overhaul in the sense that we need more consistent role players/ starters. DLO is gone, I'm gonna say you probably trade Rui and a pick to see if you can potentially upgrade a spot in starting lineup. The bench without a doubt needs to be improved. There's a ton of different ways we can go this summer but 3 first round picks for trade, 5 seconds, some valuable young players on team to trade. We have more than enough to make upgrades. Possibly the biggest thing is we need to get bigger. We need a reliable back up big that can also at times share the floor with AD. It's been clear this series and all season that not having that legitimate back up center has hurt them significantly. Hayes is a decent third option but we need a legitimate 2nd option behind AD. Lastly Jeanie and the entire front office, Lakers Brass needs to wake up and be held accountable and realize they need to fix this. Getting swept two straight playoffs by the same team is a failure regardless of what happened the rest of the season. They need to be willing to make the big changes this team desperately needs such as a new coach. Also time to consider investing in a overhaul of ths medical staff.
i think we have a good team minus needing another physical enforcer type big. we just need to get rid of D'Lo and Ham. Addition by subtraction
Also, we have kept the tradition of treating stars like stars, even if its time for Lebron to roll. This has been fair from both sides. He saved us from a very bleak late and post Kobe era, when the perception of the Lakers organization was being ignored by free agents and questioned at every level. With that said though; the Lakers have also done everything he asked, including Westbrook, and it annoys me his complete lack of accountability on the several moves he asked for that did not work out.

3rd & 4th quarters are always Lakers problem. Not just in this series but the whole season.
You shouldn't expect to get 20 mil plus if you are a minus player defensively and when the games matter most your offensive production is a complete wildcard that tends to be negative.
In D lo's defense, this Lakers team would have never made the play in if it weren't for him. He was the teams third best player this year, whether you admit it or not.

The Nuggets are so much better prepared, that if LA loses tonight in any fashion Ham needs to be let go Monday. I've never seen a coach respond to being figured out by leaning into the 💩 that's not working. For anybody that's played high level basketball the hardest thing to do is play against the opposing team & your coach. What I mean by that is you have to think of an adjustment to your own coaches play while still operating within the scheme. It's bad enough having to do it on offense but LA has to do it on defense as well.
I love you lakers nation. It’s been a long year and we’ve been loyal . We all have to work harder to give our team the spirit. As a fan base the energy is connected , I truly believe that . Our team is a reflection of us . We have to do work on our own paths and watch how our team gets back on track
