      You know, I was watching a video on some guy who makes those. 3D prints them. Is that where you got yours or did you 3D print your own?
      And another question while I'm at it, how are the hubs holding up?
      Ain't nobody want to crash at 30 mph if a 3D printed hub breaks!!!

      @@bigdaddyshouse well I bought the board off a guy who had bought the 3d printed hubs. he never added them so i added them and saved a lot of money on the hubs and tube and tire. i have prob 80 miles on the all terrain hubs and i can still push 30 which is pretty scary.. i check them after every other ride but its still very strong. i have no worries they'll break on me soon tbh. maybe 200 miles and i might need to do something but idk. im just enjoying them because i never paid for them only added them on lol

      I shot the ridding portion of that video with a camera called the insta360 one. It's a pretty nice camera for capturing 360° angle action shots.
      You're going to love your AWD... I JUST CAUTION YOU, This board is going to grip entirely different, after all all wheels have power. I have crashed several times not giving this thing respect.
      Anyways it's a beast!

    how are you still liking it? do u wish u could've got any other ones, if u had the money or think you spent too much getting that instead of V3? also what other options were u looking at besides the AWD pro?

    • @bigdaddyshouse
      @bigdaddyshouse  Před 3 lety +3

      Hey Kenzy, I opted for AWD PRO because I live in a pretty hilly neighborhood and I weigh about 220 lb. I wanted something that could get me from point a to point b without any battery anxiety and or having to go up a hill at 10 mph.
      This board is definitely the ticket.
      I can fly up a hill at 25 miles an hour without any qualms or lag. (With a full battery) once your battery hits the halfway point you should be a little careful going up anything 25° or more. Believe me the board will let you know. Lol. You will just have to dial back the acceleration a little bit.
      As for spending a little less and getting a V3, I just didn't think it would have had enough torque and power for what I wanted.
      I own the boosted board before this one and as it was a fun comfortable ride it gave me ridiculous battery anxiety.
      I happen to get my Meepo on a Black Friday special. I paid $720 for it. I thought it was a pretty good deal of the time. Four hub motors at 540 watts a piece and dual batteries that'll get you 14 mi was what sold me.
      Although personally I've got 11 miles out of it. But as I said earlier I have a lot of hills in my area. I wouldn't doubt that it would get 14 mi on maybe setting 2 on flatlands.
      Anyway hope that helps out brother, thanks for watching!

      Red for charging and green for charged.

      Hey man, sorry for the way late reply.
      But yes you can kick ride this skateboard it's actually really smooth because it's a hub board.
      It'll give you a little more of a workout to kick right it because it's a much heavier board but it could be doable in a pinch.

    Do you know how to repair the remote ? Mines keep disconnecting from one of the battery’s causing me to be launched off the board at high speed. When this happens it no longer tracks the speed anymore either and feels like there’s a huge delay.

    • @bigdaddyshouse
      @bigdaddyshouse  Před 3 lety +1

      Not a problem, You're welcome.
      So I've only owned three boards thus far.
      and without a doubt my absolute favorite is the boosted board.
      however, it seems like no board comes without its problems.
      My battery finally gave out on my boosted which is why I decided to go with the meepo after some research.
      but now that boosted board is out of business you obviously can't get a new one but I have seen them gently used on eBay.
      At some point I will probably go on eBay myself and get it boosted stealth.
      With a booster board I always felt like I was one with the board. Very easy and comfortable ride. I literally never crashed on it! Meepo AWD PRO feels like I'm riding an angry bull. I've crashed three times on this board already and I've only had it since November. The last crash I'm still recovering from which is why I haven't done a video in a couple months.
      Anyway as far as a board under $1,000 and has great response and smooth ride, hands down boosted.

      Hey big ginge, I weigh about 230 lb and am in a pretty hilly area and get about 9 to 10 miles per charge on mode 3.
      If I was riding somewhere flat I would probably get 12+.
      If I remember right I think the specs say 14 miles. I'm sure they got that range on an all flat area with someone who weighed 120 lb and on mode 1. LOL
      Thanks for watching brother! I appreciate the support.

      I came from a Boosted board and the Meepo kills it. Although to be fair the Meepo has (4) 540 Watt motors. With a combined output of 2160 Watts. My booster board only had 1500 Watts.
      It's a huge difference in feel especially on incline.
