There's nothing wrong with getting two boxes. You don't have to justify yourself to anyone. Your saving food from going to waste after all ,and feeding your family. I love the meals you make. Very imaginative recipes

I got a Cooplands bag today. £3.20 for two sausage rolls, one of which was vegan. Pack of four mince pies, two yumyyums. Danish pastry and a pack of 8 white chocolate caramel shortbread ❤

I have been buying Christmas food products which has been reduced but good for months. This has included sweets, chocolate, mini biscuits etc. I have brought several tubes of chocolate buttons as the hamsters like the tubes to play and hide etc. they can destroy them and can bin if they are gross/destroyed. Have an amazing new year and hope you are sleeping better too with the kiddos etc.
That's a good shout, chocolate is chocolate any time of year in my book! That's a good idea to recycle the tubes too. I keep tubes like that for craft projects with my toddler. Happy New Year to you too :) xx

Your too good to go bags from Aldi are always so good. The ones from the Aldi’s near me are rubbish mainly bread with two avocados and pasties. All use by on the same day so only bread can be frozen 😅. Also shame on those people for judging you. You’re saving money and preventing food waste so it’s a win win! Love your hauls 🥰

Yeah, justification needed as to why you get these boxes. I would get those boxes all the freaking time if they were available by me unfortunately you pretty much have to go to a food bank to get a box like this here in the US. Love love, love these videos and so happy that someone is able to benefit like this. It absolutely hate food waste for the thought of people being hungry. Can’t go Wrong with bananas.- smoothies, ice cream, banana pancakes, banana bread..

Fab boxes I have used the app recently saved a Morrisons grocery bag and hot food bag but both cancelled today in a way is good as no waste, I often get Costa bags but you don’t get much in them
Ah how annoying they got cancelled! But yes I agree, no food wasted which is the point! Costa don't seem to do them near us but Starbucks do and they are pretty generous xx

Take all the boxes you need. If Aldi doesnt have a policy limiting the boxes, then some schmuck on the internet sure as hell has no place to tell you what you should be doing.
And I'm envious of y'all getting these boxes. Here in the USA the food is just thrown away, and in some places, if you get caught taking food from the dumpsters you could be prosecuted.

Tell those other people to "suck a lemon", as my mom used to say! I just love how much stuff you got. That's swell! Also, look up Bananas Foster! You can't tell if there's a bruised banana in the recipe and it is so delicious over vanilla ice cream---a dessert for a treat day. Happy New Year to you and your family, Claire! Happy New Year! I also hate when they put labels over food item name. Also at Morrisons they cover the barcode and very often the calorie values. Sometimes they come off easily but sometimes they destroy the information. It's really important for me as I'm counting calories for 3 months now and losing weight steadily. 132kg 3 months ago. Now 118.

The bananas are just riper than you like. They are perfectly edible.
Oh 100% yes. They all got eaten. Any that go over (I mean well past what was in the video) just get frozen and used for baking xx

If you need 2 boxes get 2 boxes, better than it going to waste and only you know your own needs. Not been in Aldi for about 3yrs but I may visit now just to check it out - some of those items looked nice but I'm not really into prepared food stuffs.
Very true! I have to say one of the things I like about the surprise bags is some of the processed stuff purely because I generally cook from scratch so it's nice to try things that it would never normally occur to me to try. It's a bit of a treat sometimes xx

How do you freeze the bananas? Do you mash them? Xxx
I just peel them and pop them in a freezer bag. It's great for smoothies or baking. You wouldn't be able to eat them like a normal banana as they do go mushy as they defrost xx

There is always someone who is going to rain on your parade. I say let them. Don't listen to people's judgement. You do you while giving them the finger. You are not stopping anyone else from ordering blind boxes. Forgive me, I'm an Aussie. We don't have blind boxes here. If we did, I'd be on them.

If you are watching the FODMAPs ( Fermentable Oligosaccarides, Dissaccarides, Monosaccarides & Polyols,) you might find you cannot have sugar-snap peas either.
That's interesting! I've never looked into it myself so I find it a bit mind blowing that they wouldn't be considered 'healthy' (I know that's not the correct term but I'm low on caffiene) xx
@@mumthings Of course items that are high in FODMAPs my be very healthy for others but they are harmfull if you are sensitive to some of them.

I get the aldi to good to go boxes and have just been told that they cant put meat in the to good to go boxes anymore has anyone else been told this i think you're doing an awesome job saving food waste well done

First time viewer. So what if you purchase two boxes? They were available. You paid your money. I don't know how large your family is yet. I know there is a toddler. The contents of the boxes are an unknown variable. If this was not true, we wouldn't need multiple videos from multiple channels. She needs the boxes,as many do, we watch what is inside and get food prep ideas and strategies for saving money. End of story.
Don't think my Aldi does this? no evidence of it ever happening!
Have you checked on the app in your local area? I do find that if you search by brand it only shows up places that have bags available at that moment so sometimes you have to stalk the app a wee bit xx

This is very true. I guess I just feel like I want to be as honest and transparent as possible on this channel. 9 times out of 10 catty comments don't get to me but I can't stad the thought of someone thinking I've been greedy and am misusing the app! xx

@@mumthings It was quite good. I got 4 pieces of square sausage and 2 bits of mushroom in one and the same in the other with a sausage. I got a Morrisons grocery one and then watched your video and thought, "Oh no", lol. But mines wasn't too bad at all. I got 4 little corn on the cob, 2 packs with broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, 2 packs of strawberries, 2 packs of raspberries and 2 packs of blueberries, 🙂x
