- MCU Reaction for No Way Home and what a freaking epic movie Spiderman No Way Home is!!!
Badd Medicine here and its Spiderman reaction time! Folks, we still can't get over how awesomely epic this movie was! I mean seeing Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield again as spiderman was absolutely insane! Truly an moment in cinema history. We also get to see Willem Dafoe back as the Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx back as Electro, Alfred Molina as Dr. Otto Octavius, Rhys Ifan as Dr. Curt Connors / The Lizard, Thomas Haden Church as Flint Marko / Sandman. Great to see all those villains back. We see for a few moment Daredevil himself, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) giving Peter Parker legal advice. I wonder how they will incorporate him more moving forward. Zendaya did great as MJ. Her and Ned were a great team in this one. Tom Holland crushed this one with Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and we should give a round of applause for Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. She was great and sad to see her go like that. Again the fan service in this movie was absolutely amazing! And that Spiderman post credit scene with Venom (Tom Hardy) are we finally going to see Spiderman and Venom?! Will it be Tom Hardy? It better be! It still feels like a dream. Really happy the Marvel pulled this off for the MCU. And lets hope we can get 1 more Andrew Garfield Spiderman movie! And it feels like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie is going to be out of this world!!!!

Hey guys I'm about to check this out and i remembered the walking dead mid season is over 😆 me like a dunce was waiting on it this morning! 😆😃👍🏼
🤣🤣 fear TWD is next up. But enjoy this for now. 👍
RRR movie is in theatres now. It is a theatre film seeing in home doesnt give the impact. I urge you to see it in theatres
@@BaddMedicine hey can u do the far from home and homecoming to? Please
We have seen homecoming. We enjoyed that one. So unfortunately, no reaction will be done for that. We appreciate you requesting it 🤙
Seeing this in theatres was such an unreal experience. There were theories that Andrew & Toby would be in it because of the trailer, but nothing was confirmed. So when Andrew popped out of portal, & you recognized the suit, everyone completely lost it. We all knew Toby was next. I’ve never been in a theatre that loud!!!
Wish we had gone
"I’ve never been in a theatre that loud!!!"
How annoying.
@@OriginalPuro Cheering in the theater should be banned, don't let you talk on the phone shouldn't allow that either
@@OriginalPuro As long as it's in moderation and in only hype moments then it really makes the experience. You sound like a buzzkill. You too @funtourhawk, you're just crazy.
@@BaddMedicine would you guys ever react to Daredevil series? Or Luke Cage?
The brilliance of this movie is that it brings Spider-Man back to Square One as a hero. A lot of people complained that the MCU Spider-Man had it too easy with all the Stark tech and Avengers allies. But No Way Home takes that all away at the end. He's back to being the struggling lone hero that is Spider-Man at his core.
He still has his Iron Spider though, doesn’t he? He’s wearing it when he leaves everyone, and now he has the plain cloth one. Is he just keeping it for emergencies I wonder?
@@seanshukoski3457 The Iron spider was engineered to recognize and receive instructions from Peter and only Peter. When the whole memory wipe thing happened, it also erased all proof that Peter Parker existed like records and photos and lo' and behold, all recognition data registered in the Iron Spider. So the AI in the Iron spider no longer recognizes Peter as the owner and would no longer work with him. That's why he had to make a new one from scratch.
@@seanshukoski3457 the DODC took the charger, and he’s unrecognisable to it
@@Squeekysquid Agreed. A big part of the charm of early Spider-Man comics was that he was changing over time and wasn't stuck as the same age and in the same circumstances. But everyone wants to keep him a lone hero by himself in high school struggling all the time. He was the CEO of his own company for a while in the 2010s but the status quo can't change for long and he went broke again.
Spider-Man isn't really a lone hero at his core. That's just adaptations. In the comics, his connections to other heroes is a major part of his character and are prominent in a lot of his stories. His 2nd ever appearance involved him trying to join the Fantastic Four and he and them have had a close relationship over the years with Human Torch and Spider-Man being roommates for a while and Spider-Man joining Mr. Fantastic's Future Foundation. Spider-Man has a longtime love-hate relationship with Wolverine and have crossed over a lot and he has a long history with the X-Men and other mutants in general since he was thought by the general public and a lot of other heroes to be a mutant for a while. He was a founding member of the New Avengers and was the first of them to join the main team and has been in the team for decades.
I watched a breakdown of this, but when The Oak said the Avengers won't know who he is either. He is 1000% right. The Avengers know there is a Spider-Man that fought against them in Cival War, fought alongside them in Infinity War and Endgame. But they don't know who is under the mask.
🤘🤘🤘
Plus, the only "connection" he ever had to them was Tony. With Tony dead, there's no one to "reminisce" about either. Fury never even met him.
He only taught against half of them in civil war lol
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse If you mean the real fury then yes? i think idk. But obviously Spiderman was unmasked around a few people in the 2nd film. And then there are people like a few of the female characters that saw peter in Endgame. I wouldnt say that really matters but if we want to be nit picky then yeah
@@orangedinosaur3546 He met Fury in Far From Home, who was actually a Skrull.
We find out in this movie that the FBI agent straight up says Fury hasnt been on Earth in years. That wasn't Fury at the funeral either.
I literally started to sob when Andrew caught MJ. Like full on sobbing in a theatre. I don’t remember much from watching the other Spider-Man’s years ago but Gwen falling was the only scene that has stuck with me all these years and Andrew paying homage to her by catching MJ while crying had me in an ocean.
I love that they all got to display their range. Andrew's acting in that scene was amazing.
I remember getting so upset when MJ fell thinking NOT AGAIN! Then he caught her and I was so excited and happy! Only to start crying when he also lost it
In case you're still confused with the Tom Hardy cameo/situation: Eddie was brought to the MCU in a post-credit scene in Let There be Carnage, but he was sent back to his own universe at the end here, but left a piece of the symbiote behind. Thus, the MCU finally has it's own symbiote.
We better get Tom Hardy in one of these. 😂
@@BaddMedicine And to add to the comment, we all know that Tom Hardy's Venom hasn't fought Spider-Man yet (that's why he doesn't have the huge white spider on his chest) but in Let There be Carnage, Venom explains that symbiotes share a hive mind throughout the whole multiverse. That'd explain why he was brought to the MCU, because even though he doesn't know who Spider-Man is, his raimiverse counterpart does.
@@JulesBox so long as raimi venom was in the same universe as hardys venom, then hardys venom will gain the white spider
Marvel literslly stole their character sjsjjs
I love when Strange mentions that Peter is still a kid because in a way I think some folks are still too harsh on him. Like with the spell I've seen a lot of people blaming Peter instantly and to be fair it's partially his fault disturbing it so much but would it have been so hard for Strange to have explained the full details of the spell before casting it so that Peter could think "Oh hey here's this group of people that really should still remember who I am."
Exactly! Thank you. Peter is literally a child (I know he's nearly an adult, he's 16-17 in this film, but still), and sure he may be intelligent, but kids don't always fully think through the things they do. Strange, as the adult and the magical expert, should have explained the exact ramifications of the spell to Peter BEFORE performing it so he would have that insight. I think it's unfair that people blame Peter as much as they do, and don't take into consideration a) his age, and b) his lack of magical knowledge.
Yes! I fully agree!
On top of Peter having zero knowledge of magic. When the room disintegrated like it did, he clearly thought that was just the spell.
Yeah...there seems to be a lot of viewpoints like that, even in the movie itself. Like you said, Strange could have easily told him the details *Before* he cast the spell.
Then immediately after Dr. Strange gets on Peter's case because of the MIT situation...acting like not getting into MIT was the ONLY reason Peter wanted to have people's memories altered. MIT was just the final straw cementing that a great many people around the world would treat not only him, but his friends and family as no better than criminals because some nutjob framed him.
Lastly (that I can think of) is the judgment on Peter wanting to help the villians. If he sent them back, he'd be sending them to die. He sees there may be a way to genuinely help them, and that is who Spiderman is, he's the guy who will go to lengths to help people in need.
8:10 “Tobey Maguire never blew his cover” actually getting his identity revealed is something all the Spider-Men share. Tobey’s identity was revealed to Harry in Spider-Man 1 & then several people during the train fight in Spider-Man 2, Andrew’s identity was revealed in ASM1 to a bunch of police & SWAT teams. He needs to get better at this lol
False, Norman and MJ discovered Peter's identity in the first movie. Harry didn't find out until Doc Ock delivered Spider-Man to him and he unmasked Peter himself in SM 2. Captain Stacy is the only one as far as I know who saw Andrew's face in ASM aside from Gwen but he told her right away.
@@ricardoquintero7160 MJ didn’t find out he was Spider-Man until Spider-Man 2
@@dylan3488 well at that point she had her suspicions with that kiss at the end of the film
yup. he was just simply lucky that none of his villains prefer to pull shits like mysterio did. infact villains figured by themselves.
Harry doesn't find out that Peter is spiderman in spiderman 1 he finds out in spiderman 2 along with MJ the only person who knows Peter is spiderman in spiderman 1 is Norman
I saw a review when it was initially released in theaters that said something along the lines of "Well, that was 2hr 28min of fan service and I, as a fan, feel fully serviced." and I still think that's the best commentary of the movie.
That's the perfect way to describe it. Fan service doesn't have to be a bad thing, and this movie is imo the absolute best example of fan service done right.
“Norman’s on sabbatical, honey” … so chilling. Say the phrase, “with great power,” you have to die, that’s the law.
Willem voice is just iconic as Green Gob/Osborn
Yeah, when she said that, my heart sank. Knew what was coming next.
When I saw it in cinema part of the audience finished the sentence along with her and cheered briefly.
@@BaddMedicine The laugh too. He would make an insane Joker on par with Heath Ledger if ONLY he gets a good script he can easy pull it off.
@@wildhunt6350 I have been hoping for this for a while now
I don't think it was so much a second chance as it was a critique on mental health. It's easy to condemn these men as evil, but the only reason they did these things are because of the voices, the massive power trip, Marco's criminal nature of being who he is. Every villain had some mental health side effect that drove them evil. So deciding to help people that need it even when it is hard is something we need more in these times.
People who do evil because they're fucked up in the head doesn't make them any less evil or deserving of help. Try to help a paedo, or a rapist, or a serial killer, or a psychopath, especially when their brains are literally wired that way. You can't.
Evil is evil.
However, there is a quote from Hamlet - "There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so." so granted, certain things are decided by the morals of civilisation of the eras. It's all a matter of perspective and how society runs.
It's kind of a unique thing with pretty much all of the Spider-Man movie villains. They didn't necessarily have evil intentions, it was pretty much always a case of being given crazy powers that effect your mental health while already being in a bad mindset.
And that’s why Marisa Tomei is an Oscar winning actress. The way they did her death was so realistic. Once the adrenaline wore off, her body gave out.
The "black suit" is not his noir suit..it is his regular suit, turned inside out because someone threw paint on him and he couldn't get it out...you can see all the wires and sensors sticking out from the suit..great reaction!
Thank you for pointing that out. And thanks for watching. We appreciate it 🤘
It was added to Spider-Man PS4 as a suit, including all the wires and the inside out look. It would be a cool suit on its own, black with gold webbing? It practically draws itself.
@@Kazeromaru how do you get that suit, is it dlc or do you unlock it in the game 🤔

As a hardcore fan of the character I love Tobey, Andrew and Tom, but Tom Holland is so good as both Peter and Spider-man. I mean, even Stan Lee himself said it that Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man.
Tom Holland kill it with his performance in this movie and I can’t wait to continue his Spider-man amazing character development.
Tom Holland Spider-man has lost so much in so little time, it’s crazy.
Tobey got bit at the age of 17.
For 17 years, he lived a normal, happy childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, but he got to properly graduate from high school with his childhood best friend and move into the city with him.
Andrew got bit at the age of 17.
He lost both of his parents at a young age and still carries that pain and yearning with him, but for 17 years, he lived a rather normal childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, he becomes Spider-Man, graduates properly with his peers and his high school sweetheart, and lives in his childhood home with Aunt May.
Tom got bit at the age of 14.
After living up until freshman year with a relatively normal childhood, he is thrust into the superpowered world, and fights alongside the Avengers after only six months of being a superhero. While in high school, he loses out on hanging out with his friends, attending activities he enjoys, and teenage memories he will never recover, all in the name of heroic responsibility. Eight months into his powers at the age of 15, he defeats his first supervillain, is almost murdered, and loses out on ever going to his high school homecoming dance.
At the age of 16, he witnesses an alien invasion (for the second time in his life) and goes into a one-way trip into outer space where he dies on an alien planet. While the Blip was instantaneous for most people, for Peter, he understood that he was dying for a whole minute and died in the arms of his mentor. An hour later, he is revived, but he watches his mentor and idol die in front of him and attends his funeral.
At the age of 17, he is lied to and gaslit by a second supervillain, is almost murdered again, and has his identity revealed to the public and is framed as a murderer, destroying his personal life.
Later that same week, he discovers the multiverse is real, Aunt May dies, leaving him with no family, the world's memory of him is erased, leaving him no friends or support network of any kind, misses out on properly graduating high school, and lives alone in the city. Being Spider-Man is all he has left.
And after all of that, only then is he the same age as Peter 2 and Peter 3. And that breaks my heart.
I can’t wait to see were they take the character next, especially with that offspring of Venom. I hope Scorpion is the one that gets it.
this is a great comment and i agree with all of it but there is just one technical error because ffh and most of no way home take place months apart from each other than the 20ish first minutes of no way home. We can tell this how far from home was his summer vacation and 1 week after his vacation his identity was exposed. The montages in the first 10 seconds and the college montage in no way home was a showcase of time passing. If ffh took place in like july or august nwh most definitely takes place in December because we know its almost Christmas there from he mirrorverse scene and the ending. He is still 17 though but he doesn't learn of the multiverse 1 week later.
I don't believe Stan Lee ever said Holland was the best. He just said that's how he always envisioned Peter. Younger and still in high school and stuff. The other two were in their mid 20s when they were Spider-Man, so they looked a fair bit older. Their movies really should have been set in their college years, but oh well.
Except Stan never said that. He said that PHYSICALLLY, in height and age, Tom was how he first envisioned the character and that Tom was a perfect choice to play the role. When Tobey left the role, Stan said - "Tobey IS Peter Parker. I love him and what he did for Spider-Man!". I'm sure he had nice things to say about Andrew also. It's just a creator giving praise to the actor that is currently playing the role. For the record, I think all 3 were perfect choices
To be fair, Strange was the one who knew that making revisions to the spell could make it unstable but instead of putting his foot down he just kept stacking them on. Allowing the spell to get so unstable that he could no longer cast it and allowing people from other universes to cross over into his.
Bottom line, Strange knew the dangers of altering the spell but did it anyway and did not have any form of prior discussion about it with Peter, so it really is his fault.
Lol they just changed strange personality to fit this movie and that’s what i hate about it cuz strange as strange would not do anything that careless to harm the whole universe i mean i can look it as oh peter here just a kid they went thru a lot and he’s just gone soft to help a kid but if it’s strange STRANGE he would NEVER be this careless
@@nidnnn7545" you take it they discussed the conditions before but Peter did lose his nerves anyway as he got nervous when real time arrives. So its meant to be Peters fault in the movie"
Thats the directors explanation...
@@nidnnn7545 Plus Strange being careless and arrogant isn't new either...common
Benedict also did say Strange also wanted to help the kid badly even at a greater cost because Peter saved his life twice from certain death in Infinity War.He attributed it to Strange being human who is capable of making emotional mistakes. (Personally i remember Peter saving Strange from certain death only once in infinity war though when he saved him from falling into space when they rescued him from Ebonny)
Nah
Nope it's Peter's fault and he even stopped Strange from fixing it later .
Just have to say, you have to love the logic that Peter has when he decides to save the villains - that's the most Spiderman thing he could do! It killed me to hear you say over and over that it was a bad logical move. Spiderman tries to save everyone - with great power comes great responsibility. Aunt May was right; sending them back to die is the easy way out. Do we really want a Spiderman who just sends people to their death to save himself from his own mistakes? He's gotta do the Spidey thing!
That's my thought with peoples confusion with Pete's actions in this movie. Maybe they aren't "pragmatic or logical" to certain people but it is 100 percent what Peter would do.
Exactly and thats why i find it weird when people praise andrew and tobey both of them let/kill one of their villains.
fr i hate when ppl don't try to understand him at all 😭
It truly is the most spiderman shit ever
Idk if you guys noticed but at the end, when Peter goes to the coffee shop to tell them but backs out, MJ still had the necklace that Peter had given her on her neck. There is a theory that she still knows or will be the first to figure it out in further movies just like she did before.
I don't think the Stark suits would work for Peter anymore. Everyone forgot who Peter was so I don't think the suits would recognize him anymore
I think that’s one of the loopholes I think. Every “one” forgot not every “thing”. An AI could be the loophole to a thing 😅 I’m reaching but it makes sense
The suit would work, but he would have no longer have tech support from Stark Industries.
The suit wasn't linked to stark industries anymore so he lost a lot of features and the charging station for it was confiscated.
He still has the red and black one he might even be able to fix it up since he knows how to sow now. I do love the red and blue suit but red and black is just such a badass color combo to me so I do hope he keeps this one around in some way.
I think he took parts from the Stark suit and sewed them into his new suit
The point of the character of Spider-Man is that he would sacrifice himself to save everyone, even the villains. It's not that he trusts them, it's that he's taking the risks
I think killing May was horrible but it was also very touching because in other movies Uncle Ben dies almost instantly where as to May we actually get to know throughout the other movies so the character buildup brought a lot of emotions at her death
Agreed here
The experience of seeing all this in the cinema was so surreal. One of the best cinema experiences of my entire life and it brought to life all the things I wanted to see for a long time and it was easily my favourite movie of 2021 and one of my top 3 MCU movies ever.
Glad the experience was that epic🤘
Just when you think the MCU wouldn’t wow us anymore after Endgame, they pull this out!
Sky’s the limit at this point!
Agreed! Thought endgame was the peak.
Surely they can't top this one... (watch me eat my words in a couple years xD)
@@mityakiselev the one that’s gonna top it is doctor strange 2
@@infamous_richard8732 IDK, judging by the trailer, it won't have as much fanservice as No Way Home... There's gonna be the evil Strange from What If, Wanda's kids, what else? More mutants? Like the opposite of House of M? Only in that case will it have a serious impact on the MCU

I'd honestly be happy in the next Spider-Man movie with Tom. If they have an after credit scene of Andrew taking a chance with Peter. Like he said, he hadn't been living as Peter. When he takes that chance, thats when he meets MJ. And he'll know what it means because of Toby talking about his MJ, and that Tom has an MJ. That's all I need.
Well said
I dont know if he will ever get another love interest, he learned the hard way of the risks and I don't know if he will take that risk again
@@abbij2009 Nah, he learned from Tobey that he can make it work. And knows that he must search for a girl with MJ initials.
I'm SO glad I checked out Andrew Garfield's movies. He was a great Spider-Man, & an even better Peter. Really happy he got his redemption & I hope he cones back more than Tobey & Tom, because I agree he totally got shortchanged, & even though he gets a lot of love from the Spider-Man community, I don't think he gets enough
Agreed 🤘
I'm glad he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. To me, he's always been the best of the 3, with Tom coming in at a distant second. Tobey's performance was always funky to me, and in general I've never found him to be a good actor at all. Andrew Garfield on the other hand? That guy's amazing
@@NovusIgnis broo frrrrrrrr, andrew has always been my fav and to see ppl actually liking him now makes me so happy
Man, watching this in theatres was damn near the best theatre-going experience I've had since Endgame. It was like being at Game 7 of the Finals, and your team falls behind, but then somehow pulls out the win at the end. The emotions were, like y'all said, was a roller coaster. Mind-numbingly awesome, if you will.
It's awesome to hear others experiences in the theaters. Truly one of the best movies marvel has done.
Unironically this is absolutely peak Spider-Man cause he always tries the peaceful approach so curing them is 1000% in his wheelhouse
Toms trilogy was just one big origin story. And I am here for it😂
Agreed!
Honestly after watching all the Spider-Man movies again before seeing this I realised my favourite is Andrew. I get why people like Toby and Tom but Andrew just made me feel so many things in this and he really just seemed like the sweetest.
Andrew is awesome!
Enjoying your guys reactions to all these movies, you have such genuine reactions and it's honestly fun to watch you guys. Now concerning Spiderman trying to save the villains, that's basically who Spiderman is in the comic. He's the hero that always tries to see the best in people, it's his strength and his weakness at the same time. He's the hero who will always do what's right and pay the ultimate price for it. That's what makes him such an exceptional hero. They basically reduced Spiderman to his core essence of having nothing for himself, yet still being selfless.
Anyways, great reaction as always, keep it up and can't wait for the next one!
P.S. You might enjoy into the spiderverse movie if you didn't see it already ;)
Thank you and thank you for your perspective 🤘 we did see it. Pretty interesting.
I love this 'sad' smile Answer had when May said her great power responsibility line cuz he knew she dies right after that while rest of you guys were so happy about her saying it. this scene was so emotional
This movie did pack some heavy emotions
The way andrew catches MJ in this scene- he very clearly as gone over what happened thousands of times. How he caught her, relying on his momentum falling rather than his webs-
*It's all to avoid whiplash.*
Awesome reaction, soo emotional!!!! As far as the Tony Stark suit is concerned, he couldn't have kept using it, because - after Dr. Strange's spell - even the A.I. of the suit wouldn't have been able to recognize him as "Peter Parker" anymore, that's why he had to sew a new one himself (which is an amazing suit, if you guys ask me!)
🙂🙂🙂🙂
Thank you and thanks for watching. Good call on the the suit. You're right, it wouldn't know Peter.
That scene between garfiekd and mj gets me every time especially because it was due to the way spiderman caught gwen that she died not from the fall. They initially believed it was due to the fall only to later learn the way spiderman caught her was what killed her but even if he hadn't she still would have died there was literally no avoiding it.
Andrew is widely considered to be the best Spider-Man
Tobey is usually considered to be a far better Peter.
That's why Andrew shows up in his Spider-Man costume and Tobey shows up dressed in street clothes. That is just ONE of the dozens of references, meta points and call-backs that the writers put into this movie. Spectacular writing all around and you can tell there was enormous love put into this movie by everyone who worked on it.
It is fitting that this is the best of all the Spider-Man films and it is the first time in Tom Holland's Spider-Man run where we saw REAL consequences to his decisions. We really saw Tom *become* Spider-Man in this film. He didn't do a bad job in any of the other roles--personally, I think he is the best Peter Parker/Spider-Man actor of all three--but in this one you saw Spider-Man do what Spider-Man does: make the hard, self-sacrificing choices to put others before himself.
And then, pick up the cross and soldier on. Great movie! Great reaction!
Thank you. Well said.
i agree
Seeing Willem as The Goblin and Alfred as Doc Oc felt like seeing old friends again!
I got chills in the theater when Peter realized Norman was the threat in the room 🤯🤯🤯
Toby of course is the OG Spider-Man and I grew up with his movies. I really enjoyed Tom’s Spider-Man as well and in NWH, he definitely got to show his serious side and he did a wonderful job. However, my sentimental favorite is Andrew’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man despite Sony really messing everything up with TASM/TASM2. Andrew as well as the TASM cast acting wise really hit me hard and honestly like the realness of his movies. It may not be as epic as Toby and Tom’s movies writing wise, but I still felt so connected to Andrew’s version and I was so incredibly happy that he finally got his redemption in this movie. I love all 3, but I guess you can say in different ways? LOL!
- Toby got me in OG nostalgia feels
- Andrew is the one who I most relate to and he got me emotional in this movie.
- Tom literally is the younger brother who I wanted to hit in the head for his decisions in this movie, but also at the same time I want to protect and give him a hug. 🥺
I think there are talks/plans for TASM3 and I think I would want to see Andrew’s Peter/Spidey the way he explained in this movie.. the friendly neighborhood Spidey who became a very bitter and vengeful Spidey. Then he can probably meet HIS OWN MJ even though he already said Gwen was HIS MJ already. I want to see his Peter find love like the other Peters/Spideys.
There’s also rumors about Spider-Man 4 as well.
But I think it’s all just here say just because both Andrew and Toby said they are up for it!!
Let's hope the rumors are true for Toby & Andrew
This was so fun to watch in the theatre on opening weekend. It was packed and the theatre went crazy so many times.
I finally just watched the movie very recently and came by to see if you guys had a reaction video. 😂
The saddest part for me was when Andrew's Spiderman saved MJ and he cried. 😭😭😭 My heart completely broke for him.
Oh yeah.. that part hit the feels
Just got to say, as a new subscriber, the Appleton Oak has the flatest, resting, mean mug face I've ever seen outside a wrestling ring. Yet when something sets off his laughter and smiles, it's like I can just see what a little kid he is inside. Loving it.
There are a lot of reasons why Peter might want to go to college, but the biggest thing is probably that we all know that Peter loves science, right? I think he probably wants to get a degree so that he can work in a proper lab. He's done his fair share of garage chemistry and engineering, but being in a lab and doing great things is a whole other experience.
“Norman’s on sabbatical, honey” lmao. I never thought the day would come when I would hear the Green Goblin refer to Doc Ock as “honey”.
I took delivery of my "Oh for Fox Sake" mug today... :) I will use this mug a lot, Teams video meetings, talking to my wife and daughter... this is the gift that just keeps on giving...
When I saw this movie, my life was made complete. From age seven, when I bought my first comic book (Amazing Spider-Man #96), to May 2002 when Sam and Tobey brought Spider-Man to life on the big screen, to this phenomenal film, the journey has been beyond amazing!! And all the dialogue and musical callbacks! I was a kid again, completely giddy with joy. Great reactions gentlemen!!
There’s a quote from a 90’s movie I think about every time I watch a reaction to this movie. “You are everything I never knew I always wanted.” So accurate when I watch the Spider-Men interact with each other.
Well said 🤙
Fools Rush In with Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek?
This was a great 5/5 movie & certainly beat my expectations. Definitely the best Marvel Spider-Man, though Infinity War/Endgame are still my favorites.
“I’m something of a scientist myself.” I totally cracked up in theaters hearing that.
😂😂😂😂😂 good to see others popped at that too
Another key detail. Was in the scene were They were determining who was spider man 1 and 2, Andrew was Spider-Man 3 hinting that he will have a 3rd solo movie, which I am so pumped for cause he is my fav Spider-Man by far.
I've heard both Sandman and Lizard actors couldn't come back to reprise their roles, in person, so they had to splice footage and cgi in the actor. I believe they got them to atleast voice their parts again though.
It's weird you guys blame Peter for wanting to save them. It's literally who he is. He does his best to save people, like in the first movie he saves vulture and in the second he is willing to give Mysterio a chance until he can't. Spiderman is not a cold-blooded killer and whenever he has tried to be like that it never ends well for him. Both Andrew and Tobey's Peters explain that in this film too.
1-I was just shocked and I literally had chills up my spine. This movie was def a roller coaster. I felt; emotional, surprised, shocked, excited, sad.
2-They used a lot of references from other Marvel movies and it was just awesome. It's crazy how Spider Man has different villains that I actually had to write down.
-Sandman, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Venom, Rhinoceros, Electro, Mysterio, and The Vulture
Great reaction guys!
This is exactly what most good Spider-Man stories are: he does something incredibly stupid because he's a naive idealist kid, then has to pay a lot for his actions. That's how the first game turned out, he thought catching Fisk would be a good thing but apparently he was keeping the entire city from falling apart
I really loved this movie so much! I went twice (on the premier and then the 2nd time). It was overwhelming and complete rollercoaster of emotions, the acting was so perfect. But the most heartfelt thing for me was the relationship between the Spider-men. I am so glad that they did the same thing as Spider-man Into the Spider-verse with Miles. All of the Spider-men were supportive of each other, they truly felt like long lost brothers, there wasn't any ill intention between them or jealousy or desire to prove oneself the best one, only the unconditional support and understanding and that last hug was the best, truly like a hug to my heart. From my childhood with Tobey, to my adolescent with Andrew and now my adulthood with Tom, they came together and that hug was everything.
This was an amazing movie. I saw this 5 times in cinemas, I brought it on 4k last month. And I love it. Well played Jon Watts creating an masterpiece
Even if you didn’t love the previous spidermans, even if you just watched them once or twice but you still saw them, this movie was a beautiful culmination. The one every spidey fan deserves. So much raw emotion mixed with so many hilarious callbacks in a way that felt meaningful and lighthearted at all the right moments.
I loved this movie. Tom is my favorite Spiderman (to me, Tobey's was too awkward and Andrew's was too arrogant, whereas Tom's the perfect blend of teenage humor and innocence. No offense to anyone who prefers Tobey or Andrew, this is just my personal opinion) but seeing all of them together was truly something else. I laughed so hard when they commented on how their backs where hurting, showing they weren't 15 or 16 anymore.
I been watching Spider-Man for the past 20 years. Now Tobey Maguire Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland working together for first time. Stan " The Man" Lee would be so proud of them.
Agreed!
Toby is the original OG and he's my favorite Spider-Man❤
It was a freaking awesome movie! Loved it! Reliving it again by watching your reactions 😂
Best cinema experience I've ever had! I went with my parents and we were totally freaking out together because of how unreal this movie is 🙋🏼♀️🎉
Spiderman was always the superhero who did the right thing no matter what. Helping the villains was the right thing
This is a movie that can get summarize with 3 brother teaming up with the youngest brother GF and His best Friend to Defeat the Oldest and middle brother arch nemesis
Dafoe's acting is sooo good he changes voice the ton the face like he literally plays two separate people that's insane acting skills. Just phenomenal.
44:44 Peter and MJ are four months into their relationship since peter's identity was revealed in july and the fight at the statue of liberty was in November
I saw this in theaters, and boy oh boy, what a journey it was. Love everything about it. it is sad though that 'our' peter was forgotten.
remember when Venom was about to tell Eddie about the secret of all symbiotes that they all share the same memories from all universe at the ending of venom 2? but then interrupted and teleported to the universe of Peter, and when Venom saw Peter's news on the TV which Jonah is reporting and venom practically knows that peter...so yeah, i think they are building a venom-spiderman storyline in the future but no announcements yet! great reaction!
One of my favourite two Marvel movies. So goddamn good, it had it all. Emotions, fun, desperation, salvation, nostalgia and excellent fan service.
Spiderman No way home has a special place in my heart as my partner and i went to the cinema together, First date with him ever. Was super cool, had us both in tears by the end
I know its late but i LOVED the spiderman pointing meme IRL... it was SO GOOD
This is my second time watching your reaction about this GIGANTIC MASTERPIECE.... Thought about you and just said to myself "why not start the day with some good vibes" 😍😍😍
Hell yeah! Hope you day is awesome! 🤙
@@BaddMedicine 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾 great
Hope ur day is good too
WOOP BEEN WAITING for reactsions
Might have been the single best theatrical experience I’ve ever had, might be. Endgame got me good in the feels also. Both times it was a full theater, which made the experience that much more memorable. We all laughed, jumped, cried and cheered so gleefully. Same in Endgame, so I guess it’s too tough to tell which one was better. But those are the two movies I will never forget in the theater, I nearly went through all the napkins I grabbed for the popcorn but used for wiping away snot & tears. And I don’t think I hit my vape pen one time.
The fighting noises without the music is so funny 😂
😁 helps prevent copyrights and blocks
I’ve been on a binge of you guy’s video. And just realize at the end with Tom hardy, he talked to Danny Rojas! Football is life!😂
I got to see this in the IMAX theater and it was the best theater experience I've ever had in my life and honestly I could watch a full movie of just the three Spider-Man's talking
Imagine being in the theater lobby and hearing the excitement and cheering coming from this audience.
AG absolutely smashed this movie. He really showed how strong an actor he is. Tom got a chance to play the part seriously. Toby is a legend. All great work
These guys were all on Strange’s side in the ideological battle between him and Spidey, but I’ve seen a ton of other people split on it. They both have a valid point and are right about parts of it. If Peter listened to Strange, May would’ve lived and his life wouldn’t have been changed. But, Peter was ultimately right about it being possible to change their fates and helped all the other universes get a second chance at being better.
LOVED this entire reaction. Yeahh this movie is def one of my new favorite MCU solo movies just because of how personal it was to THIS Spider-Man specifically, even regardless of the crazy multiverse stuff here. Seeing Tobey and Andrew back made me tear up (still does) and I agree, this movie is definitely so unreal to see.
Unrelated question but are you guys planning to react to The Batman when it comes out on HBO Max?
Thank you and thanks for watching! 100% doing the Batman as some of the guys weren't able to make it to the theater to watch it. 🤘🤘🤘
@@BaddMedicine Can't wait to see ur reactions!!!!
Yes!!! you guys are putting out so much great content!! You're the first channel I go to now haha, so glad I found you through Harry Potter! This film is so perfect in so many ways and the ending is just magnificent. IMO deff one of the best Marvel films of all time. I can't wait to see where they take it from here, It just gets better and better!
In regards to whether Peter needed to go to college, even Tony Stark went to MIT. Peter may be a genius, but practically that just means he learns faster and retains information better. He still needs to learn that information.
I will always sympathize with Peter in this movie cuz I would in fact brainwash the entire world before I make a call willingly😂😂 like I'm 18 now and although I moved out and have to deal with a lot of responsibilities I'm still basically a kid. Peter isn't even 18 yet and he almost didn't get any typical teenager/young adult experiences.
Grats on 20k subs boys toot that horn david. Keep it up ! I really hope we get another Andrew Garfield spider man dudes such an underrated actor.
Thank you! Toot, toot! 🤣🤣🤣 And we're with you on hoping Andrew gets another shot.
Toby is my favorite spiderman, andrew's was the most charming and Tom was great too a youthful version of him. im happy they all had SUCH great chemistry
It was always a fan dream on social media to have all 3 Spidermen in one movie, way before we knew this movie was even in the works.
I live 5 hours from L.A. due to the hype of possible all 3 Spiderman together, I knew this would be a major even and went to LA to watch this because I knew I would be among crazy die hard fans.
I definitely was not disappointed. Every character that came on screen got and applause or a cheer. I cannot begin to explain the crowd when Andrew and Tobey came on. Beautiful cheer when Andrew caught MJ. I cried so much. Emotional tears, tears of joy and excitement. This movie was well done.
Next LA worthy movie: Deadpool & Wolverine. Audience is going to lose their collective shit!
BTW, I came across your Saltburn reaction and enjoyed u guys so much I probably saved about 15 to 20 movie reactions to my Watch Later. Be expecting.more comments from me. I did my house cleaning listening to your WanadVision reactions. Most of the time I listen while I commute to and from work. Passes the time very well.
Great reaction you guys. I wanna point out that after the events of this movie, the Avengers still remember Spider-Man, but only as Spider-Man, the Peter Parker persona is the only thing that's erased. Take Happy, he remembers Aunt May through* Spider-Man, because he remembers going to Queens and pickup the web slinger to Germany, he remembers all that, just not his real face and name anymore. And then take Dr. Strange. In his second movie, he referenced a multiversal incident with Spider-Man. So he still knows Spidey, going to space with him, fighting alongside him, helping him in NWH, he remembers it all, just not Spidey's real face and name anymore
" Did they just CLAP May?! " had me crying man 😂😂😂
Oak losing it to the meme moments just makes my day XD
This movie was one of the best theater experiences i ever had 😊
I'm sure it was! 🤙🤙🤙
Mine to. Even better then Infinity War. The audience was so into "No Way Home". Some finished the "with great power comes great responsibility"-line along with Aunt May. When Toby appeared they applauded and we also applauded in the end of the movie. I never experienced anything similar before.
Dude I legit screamed when Andrew and Tobey came on screen.
What a moment that was! Just unreal to actually see after hearing rumors for months!
One of my favorite parts! -Oak
It was awesome seeing this in theaters loved it & as much fan service as this film has it has a good story & Andrew catching MJ got me I’ll say & getting to see Charlie Cox was a badass surprise. & this was really Toms origin of becoming The Spider-Man now he’s on his own , no one knows him & he made a new suit
Looking forward to what they do with Tom now.
I remember seeing Spider man 2 back in 2004, and seeing Doctor Octopus, and I couldn't help but say he would be such a bad ass hero. To see him become one 19 years later was so damn satisfying. This was easily the best Spider man Film ever made. I think the only possible thing that could of made it better was if Venom was one of the antagonists.
Didn’t know you guys were wrestling fans, would love to see sporadic coverage from you fellas from time to time YEAH !!
We would love to do that. We'll see what we can do. Fun fact, we used to do the Indy scene for over 10 years.
Themeatically such a perfect Spider-Man story, sacrificing everything to save someone even if it’s own enemies, heart of a true hero”
facts
Love this movie. Vigorously exciting, consistently funny, a few touches of darkness, real-life consequences, overflowing with creative sequences, exceptional moments, and sensational easter eggs/callbacks as the usual Marvel motto. Times 3000.
Even though it's a tad long, there was plenty of ground to cover in this story and needless to say, director Jon Watts as well as the phenomenal cast and crew were able to hit all the right notes tonally, emotionally, and retrospectively. (Those interactions and chemistry was freaking gold) It accomplishes so much it's groundbreaking. From further adding legitimacy and exposure to past Spidey entries, to setting up Dr. Strange's next film, to opening up the doors to the Netflix universe, to connecting EVERYTHING Spidey-related much like Loki did with opening up all possibilities in the multiverse. Just when you thought the MCU couldn't get any bigger, here we are. Thank You Spidey, Sylvie, and The Eternals.
I'll say it again --- Marvel was white hot last year...Black Widow, Eternals, Shang-Chi, the D+ shows....call them butter because they're on a roll! Even with some flaws here and there, these features have been nothing short of memorable, nerdgasmic, and proof on the longevity of the studio. Fans and casuals may argue over the quality of the finished products but there's little denying the overall results.
And this? This was 100% pure, unbridled, thwipy, quippy, sensational, amazing, comic book perfection. And it has plenty of company on the mountaintop....or in this case, sticking to the ceiling. It's just what a spider does...With great power, comes great comic adaptations!
Loved your reaction buds! Glad you got a kick out of it.
Great stuff here! Thank you and thanks for tuning in. We appreciate it 🤘🤘🤘
"First week of their relationship-"
Uh no, the movie picks up in June and it ends in December
Yeah they are a little more attached at this point.
It’s important to note that since everyone forgot who Peter Parker was, that meant any sort of tech with facial recognition or anything that relied on Peter Parker existing was wiped as well and wouldn’t recognize him. So everything Tony built for Peter to use was also lost and could never be used. So not only did he lose may, Ned, MJ, all of his avenger buddies, but he also lost happy and anything that he had left of Stark. Like he literally lost EVERYTHING he ever wanted and had in a span of a few hours.
You talked about these villains doing bad things in their worlds, but you didn't take into account that most of them were victims of forces beyond their control. They didn't start as villains out to take over the world. They were turned into villains by technological accidents- most of them which were actually attempts to improve the world in some way. Doc Ock, for example, didn't even have control over his own actions- the arms were controlling him. So it doesn't seem fair to write them off as bad guys doing bad things who deserved what they got. It's not quite so black and white as that
Great to see how emotional y'all got. Should also check out the other Sandman... on Netflix!
I remember seeing this in theaters and man the whole crowd cheered when Toby came through
Same when I went, they also applauded after the movie.
How did they clean the audio in the movie so well? Great job you guys!
