I pulled Korugar on his first 10x, then pulled 2 more of him. Hes so hard to kill in Bolster. The regen from bolster, his ally protection giving him a built in counterattack, so hes healing for a stupid amount. Mines fast and tanky as hell. Not hard to build. Hes good in hydra, if hes tanky enough he can have a decent niche in pvp, if u dont have unkillable he can be a great ally protector for demon lord. The problem is ally protectors dont have a definitive place in the game that isnt more towards early game. But he stands out from every other protector with that passive. Again it's not a korugar problem. It's all ally protector champs not having a REAL place in the game that isnt early game. I love him and still use him daily
interesting feedback! im curious of trying that as mine is guarding the vault currently....our of curiousity, which masteries did you go for?
@g0dx i made the odd choice of making him for pvp so i went defense and support tree. (This was a long time ago and i never changed it) He 1 v 3d in live arena twice. His longevity is far better than people give him credit for. I took unshakeable. I built mine for a slow stall pvp team (korugar, pythion, mithrala, harima) even tho hes not actually slow, its to either turn meter boost+cleanse or ally protect (which gives the whole team more resistance and defense from his passive and he counter attacks, and his a1 heals 10% of his max hp so he's constantly healing and his hard as hell to kill) but make him fast and tanky and hes good to go. Mines 91k hp 3.6k defense, 246 spd
Korugar was my first Leggo and he carried me through DT, CB, Dragon, IT up to stage 5, partially Phantom Shogun and my main Arena champ. Even now 9 months in I still use him despite having possibly better champs.
ive had him awhile and he mostly sits in vault except for cursed city stages that can use him
7% going for him, 1% will get him, 6% will be disappointed at the resource waste. He's not a bad champ but he isn't worth that resource dump.

Also considering the question is literally "are you going for Korugar" assuming people stick to what they answer the percentages would be relatively accurate. 7% of overall respondents go for him, an estimated 1% will get him (this is variable as those who go for him could better prepared leading to a higher percentage, or a multitude of other factors), and the remainder will be disappointed they sunk resources and getting nothing extra.
The point of the post wasn't to be exactly right with the percentages, reach above your head and see if you can grasp that.
My partner does all my pulls cause it makes her happy. Her first Ancient she ever pulled was Korugar, and the second was Harvest Jack. I didn't touch Korugar for like a year, I've built him recently and he's a monster. Actually a solid ally protect + res boost, cleanse, for like early-mid. Really like him (for my account).
how do you like him with vizug? they both do big turn meter boosts
Not sure if it's worth mentioning but Ally Protect is affected by the champs Crit DMG (unless this was changed) so going down the Offence tree or having him built to do a li'l DMG can be problematic.

I use Korugar paired with Cardiel in my Sand King 25. His ally protection and strengthen keeps my team alive against his A2 spectacularly and his A1 and aoe usually hits like a tank after my Riho casts her A2 debuffs on him.
I like Korugar because he can deal good dmg and self-sustains himself by healing with his A1 in doom tower and hydra. I have him 6 pc slayer and 3 piece protection. He's pretty solid in my book.
I used to use him on one of my accts in a 6 piece protect set before hydra clash came out
Korugar deathbell was my first ever legendary after Blademaster which I got for free, so he is the first one I pulled. he has done work for me as a new player, but I can understand that level 100 players who have played for years or massive krakens/whales wouldn't be excited about pulling this guy, but he's really good if you are early game

Korugar is a badass.....but he's not worth all resource depleting good. Everyone is building him wrong too.....he's practically unkillable when done right. I think YST has the best example. Blood thirst and lifesteal are really good too cuz hes pretty much a walking set of lifesteal he heals alot when he hits. Even though he has ally protect he's best as a solo champ

Not to get anyone mad but you need to give him a chance cus when video is done Half hearted yea he going look bad i use this champ in nm hes gd if You want to get the limit and not died earlier just cant be the only tank

Ally protect is another way to say heal, as it mitigates the damage your champs take. And he self heals. So he makes your team sturdy, so you can do more with less quality gear. I don't have him. But I do have Noct, who is similar in effect: ally protect with self healing. but Noct lacks the turn meter and cleanse.
Il get the top reward n check my lobby if it's low il grab him but doubtful my bet is someone will go nuts for no reason lol

2 supports. Korugar and pinthroy and the rest is easy to build
Having strengthen plus all protect on any survivability team is OP as hell. I don’t think people understand how insane that is. My only issue was that the Champion taking the damage always seems to be under protected while taking the damage, and that’s where strength and kind of evens it out, this guy had attack down on his A1 He would be perfect boss champion.
I use him in fw. That's it. Haven't found a role for him anywhere else.
This dude drops quite often. I got 2 of them too.
I have Korugar, he's good. For basically a lot of PVE content he holds up very well. In my case, I would say he's very valid up to the late game, kind of falls off and becomes a little niche in the end game. Mainly used for Iron Twins by that point. But he's definitely a very strong progression champion for whoever gets him.
you just pair him with increase res or decrease acc and have everyone resist mischief
That would work, though dec acc + inc res alone would allow you to tank mischief in most cases. No need for Korugars boost most likely. Also, its using multiple champs for 1 role, mischief tanking.

@@TyRaids if I had to describe it, I'd say I'm at the mid level of end game. I HAVE the champs and the gear to tackle all of the content, just not the time to actually piece it all together.

I have him, he's not the best. I have better champs that can do the same thing as his kit. The 4.9 in hydra is not true either. I only use him in cursed city, no where else... do yourself a favor and skip this champ, if you happen to pull him later so be it, I wouldnt waste books either.
If you get him early or mid game he's decent. Late game I really can't see a great use for him.
Besides krisk a void leggo I don't see a better ALLY PROTECTION champion

I still don't have a single Ogryn legendary, and it's hurting me in faction wars. I'm 100 stars from Lydia and 20 of those are in Ogryn. Since a lot of people aren't pushing hard for Korugar, it's an easy decision for me to go hard on this tournament. Hopefully I win him and he carries me the rest of the way through FW.
I do not have him. If he popped up randomly, I would not mind it. I would not go for him on this competition unless for some reason absolutely no one goes for him and the points are low.

Korugar just doesn't stand up to the current top arena champs. Not worth the time and resources for most people. If you're in an easy bracket and still in need of legos, then MAYBE.

You're comparing this to end game accounts. Not everyone is pulling off billions of damages in hydra.
