I think that and his contract talks affected his performance.
His level is less since AFCON and World Cup non qualified for Egypt. Between last two goals, Man United and wolves there were 8 games he didn’t score in, he didn’t play in a couple for rest and injury. Huge Salah fan btw. I expect him to bounce back better next season and he will get a mid season break because he’s not going to the World Cup. Should give him a push for 2023 !

I think many say Salah didn't deserve the Golden Boot, given the number of penalties scored, but I think both he and Son have had a fantastic performance in the Premier League this season. Both deserve this award for being both talented players.

I think after AFCON he started to overthink things whereas before he was more instinctive, him and Mané kind of switched after AFCON.
