You made the last fight look a lot harder than it was. Kill the shadow guy ASAP every time he spawns, he doesn't have much health. Just look at the main boss and every time she flinches, tap behind her then go back to attacking the shadow then her

You can simply kill the shadow right when it spawns and you wont have to worry about that special attack or extra damage from it. Any spec weapons should help, I used dwh and was partly potted from prev boss fight boss died pretty easily. Great guide as always.
This guide was super helpful, I was really nervous about this quest but it wasn't horrible. I do recommend people to kill the shadow asap though in the final fight and keep an eye on the main boss for the twitch/darkening spell
If you are having problems with the final boss fight like I did. Then when the shade comes out, KILL IT IMMEDIATELY. If it is not out, then he cannot do the move where he puts shade over the screen. It has about 40 hp or so, good luck guys.
I was trying that but then... the mage shade kept tanking my hits and would NOT die! Then I had to watch my hp and the boss for the lightning. Then the screen started going dark and screwing with me. this boss is fucking terrible i hate it lol
1. Bring some prayer potions 2. Turn Piety and Protect from Melee on during the whole fight to increase DPS. 3. Kill the shadow is the 1st priority. 4. Magic attack from the boss and shadow do HURTS. Keep your eyes on HP bar.
Just did the quest, and I find it much easier to just kill the boss's shadows whenever they spawn in. The extra seconds needed to kill them is worth not having to worry about all the extra damage they can deal if they start maging or get you with the darkness attack.
After beating it doing slayer musiqs way I can concur. I'm around 80 flat melee stats and I had 3 pieces of food left, and that was with dodging almost all the lightnings. The shadow does a lot of dps towards the end.
it's a good thing that you kept the fuckups in the last fight, I've learned that it's not good to run away because you can't see the animation for the lightning cone charge, and she can charge it while running. Very important.
It’s so relieving seeing a tutorial where the player dies. It’s very disheartening watching everyone complete everything they do with ease. Props for not clipping that out.

Something that I have found while doing this quest without a guide is that in the final fight you can just kill the shadow. It dies pretty easily if you have stats in the 80's. Since the boss can only do melee damage aside from the lightning boogaloo you do not have to worry about the switching places and spam clicking the Akh. This would prevent what happened to Mr.Slayermusiq1. Worked for me and I was using impromptu BGS as my only weapon because I was not aware there would be a surprise bossfight. Very good guide. I used this with the quest helper so the Quest wasn't that bad. The puzzles were super easy with Quest helper so I recommend that. Most annoying part was the Dart puzzle and the Scarab boss.
Just my two cents, I attacked the shades as soon as they spawned and killed them and I never got the screen darkening attack. They have some decent HP but a couple good whips usually kill them. Just be aware of his lightning attack that he's more than happy to do while you're distracted with the shades
Just finished it with 82 combat / 67 ranged, 65 defense - 1st boss was a lot harder than the second! Took 10+ tries on first boss and around 5 for the second. I used full void w/ a rune c'bow w/ diamond bolts (e). Def recommend using your best range prayer & the best potion you can use for range & defense. Otherwise hard to hit consistently enough. For first boss: used a divine bastion potion & protect from mage & range prayer before I went in. 2 stamina pots, 3 prayer pots, a antivenom, and the rest of the inv full with mantas for food. Had 5 left at the end of the fight but I didn't take any damage from the splash attack that time. You have to avoid that attack at all costs, spam clicking in the corners to keep distance and still keep that priority when attacking the shadow / scarab. For second boss: Used only dragon dagger, fighter torso, d legs, d defender, etc. - best strategy is to ignore the shadow, pray protect from melee, attack then walk behind or beside her. Keep doing this the whole time to avoid the lightning which for me would pretty much one shot me (I survived one attack). HALFWAY THROUGH THE FIGHT, pray protect from mage since that is what the shadow will start attacking with. IF THE SCREEN STARTS TO TURN DARK, make sure to attack Akh asap or you will get fucked. Use your d spec to hit more damage, and best pots you can get (I used divine combat pot). Keep an eye on your prayer and health, eating and potting while still moving after each of Akh's attacks. my god as a cb 88 (with 66 ranged for the first major boss) this quest messed me up, i'm at 270 quest points after this one but man I had trouble with these bosses hahaha. Normally a bit above the requested cb is more than enough to finish a boss fight, this one took me waaaay too long. second boss had me healing like crazy and got one shotted like 10 times because of the chaos. even trying to kill the shadow first had me on one, hitting 0's left and right. Thanks for the guide! this quest got me reacting to 2 different vids, never done before. And i watch every slayermusiq quest guide, this was the most difficult one until now for me. osrs: WazzyWizzy
tip -> pop defence potion before last boss , bring same gear as him but get DFS as well for extra defense, 1 angler , str pot , att pot , prayer pot , sharks and karambwans , pretty ez i only ate 1 shark whole fight , as soon as he does animation step next to him , and be ready for him to teleport away , go to the place he teleports try to keep the shadow not too far, ez pz =)
In the final boss fight, kill the Shadows when they spawn, I maybe killed 4-5 the entire fight and it made it a lot easier. You never have to deal with the high damage dealing shadow swapping phase. I used 1 piece of food for the entire fight because of this.
This, so much. There's a nice strip that's five tiles long on the left side of the arena, right by that column nestled by the cliff. Park the boss (the Akh) in the center of that strip. Running between the tiles next to them will let you dodge the lightning easily, of course, but it lets you simplify it even further. If you run through them EVERY TIME they jitter out, even when it's not the lightning attack, then the shadows will naturally be sent into one of the ends of that strip instead of to the right half of the arena, which is perfect for letting you kill them while still being able to dodge their lightning attack. Doing this makes the last boss so much easier I one shot it upon noticing it.
I really enjoy the lore to the quests in osrs so I read through them and do most of them myself but I still love your vids so I watch them in my spare time. You’re a legend.
I highly recommend using abyssal dagger against last boss... with super combat pot, 80att and 80str + piety this was super fast and easy. Much simpler than the Champion Boss

Died at the same time as boss and it counted! YESSSSSS
Gz , I wonder if he would of thrown a shadow up right before if it would of counted or not he did that to me but then it died a few seconds after
Thank you for the guide. I was able to complete this madness with 79 rng, 68 att, 71 str and 56 def.
tip -> pop defence potion before last boss , bring same gear as him but get DFS as well for extra defense, 1 angler , str pot , att pot , prayer pot , sharks and karambwans , pretty ez i only ate 1 shark whole fight , as soon as he does animation step next to him , and be ready for him to teleport away , go to the place he teleports try to keep the shadow not too far, ez pz =)
I have been waiting way too long for “Hi, and welcome to my guide” lol.
the legend returns.
It isn't a slayermusic guide without all the rage moments legend hehe
Slayermusiq1 is the real MVP of the OSRS community.
Slayermusiq does it again... pure excellence as usual
I died during this quest and I literally have no idea where to go. I searched her camp and couldn't find my stuff
How did you fix it? im stuck now i cant find maisa
@@blackienori6886 My stuff somehow ended up in my bank. You wont find Maisa until the quest is complete
@@blackienori6886 Has anyone figured this out? I teled out and cant find maisa either
Im stuck as well, did yall figure this out?
@@10PCT_Humidity Yeah bro Osman is a little bit north of the camp you originally talk to maisa at. You can talk to him to fight again.
I really enjoy the lore to the quests in osrs so I read through them and do most of them myself but I still love your vids so I watch them in my spare time. You’re a legend.
NOOOO WAYY the legend is back
love you and your bossfights my guy
Thank you brother!!! Very helpful 10/10
I highly recommend using abyssal dagger against last boss... with super combat pot, 80att and 80str + piety this was super fast and easy. Much simpler than the Champion Boss
You can use the fairy code A.K.P. Before finishing the Quest! :) great guide thanks
