the merman was an april fools joke that if u opened the game on April 1st your unlocked it

Goblin is a free dlc skin if you check the steam page it cost lore to unlock but free otherwise

How do I play with one character only

If you choose to play local coop you can just press spacebar once and it will only be one character.

In the start, you had a lot of focus regaining items. I was wondering why you didn't use focus that much in the start.

Because I didn't need to. I was saving my focus for things that I know I really need it for, which luckily didn't happen too much in the start.
