Luxten LVST 150W high pressure sodium lamp (started after 18 years)

  • I got this lamp from an abandoned Elba PVT street lamp. This lamp was produced in April 2003 but was in use until 2006 when new street lamps and poles were installed. The old lamp remained abandoned on the pole for 18 years until it was taken down a month ago.

      I was using them only for the short test period, but now I replaced them.

      isn't it bad to touch these lamps without gloves? because I read that you shouldn't...

      @@johnjunior5421 It's bad when they are hot.They can burn your skin. You should let it cool for 5 minutes,in the socket

      @@johnjunior5421 also it's bad to touch the glass with greasy hands. But with clean hands it's ok, they are not like halogen lamps.
