You really got me with this one; Sharks cove is one of our must do destinations on any trip to Oahu. It's beyond beautiful. It's one of our favorite places anywhere - not just on Oahu. If that isn't enough, North Shore Taco's is across the street for incredible shrimp tacos with a 100 million dollar view. .
    Thanks for a great vid!

🌴 Aloha!~ ScottDLR, I ate fish tacos on the first day of shooting, and it was really delicious. I was so hungry that I just ate as soon as the tacos were ready. OMG! I forgot to take pictures. ~~ ^^ Next time, I will definitely try the Shrimp Tacos. Mahalo for watching!! ^^ 🤙

When I went to Shark's Cove it was a bit rainy and cloudy and we hardly saw fish. Now I see what all the excitement is about. Need to go back on a sunny day with clear water next time.

Beautiful video. I came here several times when I was young, but I never knew it was called Shark's Cove. I just called it Pupukea. I guess you're never too old to learn something new. Lol.

🌴 Aloha!~ yott1950, Thank you very much for visiting my channel. ^^ Personally, I prefer the name Pupukea. Shark's Cove is scary because it seems to be where sharks come out. Lol ^^ I will continue to film and share beautiful Hawaii videos. Stay safe and Mahalo for watching!! ^^ 🤙

Pupukea is usually the name for area above Foodland. Mansion overlooking Shark's Cove is owned Foodland founder Maurice Sullivan. Local legend is that Elvis offered to buy Sullivan estate, but was No Sale. Can Anyone out there lend credence/veracity if Fact or Fiction?

    • @infinitytricks3716

Opposite for me….I thought Pupukea was up on the hill and Sharks Cove was just the shoreline. Indian totem pole still on the N.Shore?

Because the Cove is open to tidal action, in/out. Same as Hanauma Bay but different because Hanauma is only open on one side, Shark's Cove has multiple openings

Such a shame all the coral is dead due to diver impact. As a diver and who has dived many times is Hawaii is breaks my hart to see this it truly does.
