Thank God for food pantries. God bless all the companies that donate to the food banks. I help a neighbor by driving her to the food bank every 3 weeks. She said without the help of the food bank, she would not be able to pay her utility bill, or she would starve. She is in her 60's with no family. Her husband is deseased. She is always thankful for what she receives. Hope the foodbank will be around to help. 🙏

Just talking today at one of the food banks Catholic charities and he said that the numbers are way up the number of people in need. He said he's just grateful that they have enough to do the daily stuff along with the monthly still. They do a wonderful job and are wonderful people.

I used to work in a warehouse. We sold supplies to veterinarians. I worked in the controlled substance department. I dealt with the DEA. Everyone told me my paperwork info was in the computer. I'm old school. I want paperwork in my hands. They thought I was crazy till my computer crashed.

Thanks for another great video. The avocado oil is actually very healthful for frying if you are not allergic or adverse. Relatively neutral as far as flavoring the food while cooking . Take care

Grocery store dumpsters have saved me the last 6 months. I luckily have a deep freezer and stocked up for the warm months.

Hi Dale, I went to the local food pantry Monday and the volunteers there said their numbers are down so not sure what that means. Increased gas prices and unable to get there…not sure but opposite from what you are seeing. Got a great haul and I have been canning all I can. This one church food pantry I go to has a whole parking lot full of vehicles, we leave 6 something in the morning and sometimes are in the 3rd row, about 7 to 8 vehicles per row maybe more, that and dumpster diving is how I survive every month since the food stamp office doesn't give a fair amount of food stamps here in Arkansas! Just trying to make it through the month. God Bless You All! 🙏

Four short years ago a Church near my house had to seek people out to give donated food to they even stopped my husband in a dollar store to ask if he needed it which we didnt. Fast forward 4 years and that same Church hands out food boxes one day a week there are three cars wide circling from the road in front the entire way around the Church that leads back to the road.Elections have consequences sometimes they are dire. I'm in WV this wonderful Church is on Rt 9 East.

Walgreens frequently has a deal, buy one box of bags and get two boxes free. Works out cheaper than dollar tree.

Hi Dale 🙋🏻♀️ GREAT haul again👍 I’ve been experimenting with several different grocery items over the last couple of months made with avacado oil ( I’m TRYING to eat healthier & CLEANER....as few chemicals/preservatives as I reasonably can). I have been AMAZED & I’m not easily impressed 🤣😂....some items do taste SLIGHTLY different, but ZERO avacado flavor - at least in my opinion. ( I think these items have greatly improved over time) The brand of avacado mayo that you were given has very HIGH ratings - definitely let us know how you liked it👍 Hope you & Stewie have a great weekend! I get $60 a month food stamps that's all that I have for food that I need. I go to one pantry twice a month if they have slots open and another one once a month. It really hurts to have the size down all my money is gone by the 10th of the month. Thank God I live in subsidized housing

I like that star cross spahetti sauce - i think it is just right. I like making a pickle sandwich with those kind of dill pickles. Green beans are my favorite vegtable..potatos love those any way you make them. Thanks for the tide along. Happy you recieved a very nice amount of food.

I live here in NYC and know exactly what you all mean by the prices continuing to go up but our income stays the same.
That’s exactly how I pay bills allow the bank to pay them but still get my light and able in paper for receipts

Our countrymen are hurting. Food banks are having a hard time keeping up with the demand. Donate, if you can spare a little food or cash. Every item and every dollar helps! We have to look out for each other, especially now, since citizens can't rely on their government in times of need. "Others" have been prioritized over citizens. Living in bizarre times. Pray for Divine intervention. It's all we've got.

Avocado oil is much healthier than some other oils .I dont notice it making food taste any different. U might not notice difference especially

A decent food haul . Lots of useful stuff, and plenty of produce . I had the Kraft's version of avocado oil-based mayo stuff , and it wasn't bad . Didn't taste like avocados. I am more of a Miracle Whip person , but for mayo stuff , it was okay . Even if it is past its best bu date , if it " pops " when opened , it's still good . Just don't let it stay in the fridge for too long after opening .

I totally agree with you on going to paper bills, I had a similar incident happen to me as you had only with a different company. I have never used the company that was taking money from my bank account. Thank God i got it straightened out and my money was eventually refunded. I have never ordered anything online, I know online ordering is a huge convience but I dont think its really safe. Thanks for sharing the video..Have a great Day, You & Stewie..God Bless.

Good haul 👍the ground pork is good browned and add sauce cook with spices. Pour over pasta. 👍🍝sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. I’m Italian and pork makes a great flavored sauce!

That's a nice looking haul! I love potatoes...made every which way. I love black olives, too. They're great on frozen pizza, in spaghetti sauce, or on sandwiches....like a sub type sandwich. That's a little concerning about the Amazon thing...I'm always suspicious of scams and identity theft. Have a great rest of your day! 🙂

I made that black bean, beef and tomato burrito filling that you showed a couple of days ago, and I made my own homemade taco seasoning and put that into it for flavor. Was it ever good! I made taco salad with it instead of burritos. I don’t like those nut thin crackers either, but maybe if you crush them up and use them as a casserole topping, they might work for that. The eggs are like gold with the price of them going up every day and the availability of them being in short supply because of the bird flu. If you have any corn tortillas, you can cut them into smaller pieces or strips, fry them up crispy in oil, and then break a couple of eggs into it and scramble them together. Add some hot sauce on it, cheese if you like, black beans if you want and you have what is called Migas. Perhaps you’ve had that.😊

pu mine today at Visalia we get huge amounts of food stuffs.....I have to share it..tooooooo much for me..we got today almost the same as you..here in central Calif...........plus some great stuff from Sprouts Farmers Mkt....organic products,,,,,,,,,,but NO potatoes...witrh this highest inflation we have ever seen in Caliof...it really helps me..we have generoous local stores and Food Link of America...............I am not picky but my diebetis is..have to be so careful.............

I have all my bills on paper.That way you have proof of what is what . Don't do auto pay.It's easy to have amounts disappear online.Keep paid bills for seven years,then dispose.To many people with the same name.Just in my state alone there's 127 with my name.😊

The food pantry where I go is definitely different from yours. I have to make an appointment. They only allow 8 people per half hour. You pick what you want. Shelves are marked by family size. Their fresh produce is not fresh. I've learned not to take that stuff.
I've tried an avocado, but not for me either. Odd taste.
You talked about paperless billing. I still get my paper bills and write checks.

@@PrepperDale we good ,got battery backup, solar, 2 generators an50 gallon gas,living in a camper dont take as much power .plus the fridge, water heater, an furnace run on propane. Hopefully these storms dont get to crazy, stay dry up there. Keep stewie happy.

That canned Crider chicken is very good.
Best not to store credit card info on Amazon or any site in case of hackers accessing your account. Enter your credit card manually each time.
Figure in the time and gas money it costs to drive to the food bank.
The credit card will reverse fraudulent charges😅
Prices are continuing to rise. I wish we had a weekly food bank where I live we don’t even have a monthly one. I’m disabled and it is almost impossible to get help.

I donate to our local food pantry each month. I understand that non-citizens are taking up much of the food and they are out soon. Lines are long. My daughter friend told me about the people who get food. Young and old. Thanks.
Send me that avocado mayo and those roasted almonds! Lol You won't be able to taste any avocado flavor in that mayo. But if you decide to leave them sealed I'll definitely take them when I come home! You should dehydrate some of those apple slices and vacuum seal them for future snacks!!
