The exhaust was broken, so it was really loud, and as a then 9 year-old car guy, there was nothing better than this. this vid brought up childhood memories. btw this looks like a german road
Indeed it is a great alternative to the MK2 golf and looks a little better in my opinion when tastefully modded. It's also not as hard to find an EF hatch than it is to find an unmolested Golf GTI that's for sure :)

Man I really REALLY like this car. I'm just shocked it's not faster than what it is. 0-100 seemed like it was the same as an old probe GT or Beretta GTZ. For some reason that was very disheartening. lol. Still love it!! Has to be great in the twisties!
Probe gt with 147hp? Or 160hp? surely not faster. A stock ef9 ee9 with 150hp is even a tiny bit quicker. Or maybe its a mph kmh thing? Because that is a german spec ee9. So its kmh.
99Lezard99 Ford underrated that motor. They run with Charger SRT8's with few mods and really junkyard parts to make an efficient 15psi. Don't let google fool you. Even stock with something like an ebay fmic they're chunky.

@@FG2Zim b20 is a shit block for boost. A b18c1 (gsr) is one of the best for boost and the best b series motor, it's also closed deck so it can handle boost better.
Just tap of the gas pedal before downshift man... You need to increase your rev when you downshift to match flywheel speed to the lower gear.... You are literally engine braking the car each time you downshift....
