  • There are weekends in Vegas and then there's Memorial Day Weekend in Vegas, and to celebrate its debut to the official summer kick-off party Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino unleashed a lineup of unprecedented talent featuring top electronic dance music DJs such as Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, deadmau5 and many more.
The 60,000-square-foot venue ushered capacity crowds though its doors and welcomed them into a venue that Tiësto raves as striking whether it's filled with party goers or afternoon sound check. The Dutch powerhouse, who snagged the second spot on DJMag's Top 100 DJs, is no stranger to world-class performances at sold out nightclubs and festivals. As one of electronic dance music's ultimate celebrities, Tiësto has commanded the admiration of millions around the world, and his weekly residency in the booth at Hakkasan Las Vegas is unprecedented for a DJ of his caliber.
Far from the only EDM luminary to hold court in the main room, chart-toppers such as Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Hardwell and Calvin Harris man the decks for monthly appearances at Hakkasan Nightclub. The level four main room features a DJ booth flanked by LED screens that lend themselves to the nightclub's theatrical take on performances along with a state-of-the-art sound system meant to enhance the experience of seeing top DJs such as deadmau5 perform live. The electronic dance music artist, famed for his sensory stimulating stage show, isn't simply playing "unplugged," for his monthly show, it's a full-blown spectacle complete with interactive video footage and a completely customized version of his famed mouse helmet emblazoned with the Hakkasan logo.
While the best place to soak in the frenetic buzz of a holiday weekend is in one of the plush VIP tables surrounding the dance floor complete with bottle service and unprecedented views of the DJ booth, Hakkasan features more than one place to play. Start the night with dinner at the at the highly acclaimed Hakkasan Restaurant ordering dishes prepared by Michelin-starred Chef Ho Chee Boon before wandering to the intimate Ling Ling Lounge to sip craft cocktails and marvel in the hand-cut marble walls.
And now with Labor Day Weekend around the corner, Hakkasan Las Vegas boasts an enviable roster of talent kicking off Thursday with the cake-throwing whirlwind known as Steve Aoki followed by Hardwell, Calvin Harris, Tiësto and a rare Las Vegas performance by musician and producer Moby. It's yet another weekend of over-the-top nightlife you won't soon forget.

Tiesto and Laidback Luke have both produced some of the best tracks back in the day (Tiesto trance, luke techno) now they both produce a load of shite and sadly won't go down in history as recognised artists only Rats deserting a sinking ship 🚢
