The impala ss was basically the hellcat of the 90s
It did a lil over 150mph and had only 260hp from a LT1 Corvette engine from the C4 Corvette.

For police car and taxi, I think Rockstar should make a separate model based on the Chevrolet Caprice.
Just like how GTA SA used to have 90's Caprice based Taxi and police car (LSPD and SFPD).

Surprisingly, for a simple looking car, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
I typically like muscle cars in game, but this is a pretty good car.
My only nitpicks is that it’s not that fast, it doesn’t have dual exit exhaust, and the splitter option is too big for my taste.
But overall, it’s a really good car. Definitely worth owning for $1.3 million dollars, especially giving GTA’s inflation.
And it's not almost 2M dollars

For the color I chose the dark bluish green with the stock wheels. Very much like an SS. Only thing I don't like is the chrome strip on the sides and bumpers that can't be repainted

@@VoidedEyelids The Cavalcade XL should be faster. Its modeled after an Escalade V which has a 6.2 L supercharged V8 pushing out 682hp, 0-60 in around 4 seconds. A 96 Impala has a 5.7 L V8 pushing out 260hp , 0-60 in around 7 seconds.

This car is based on the Impala SS. In the game, however, it’s called the Impaler SZ. The “SZ” in place of the “SS” may have been derived from the German letter “ẞ”, which is called “eszett”. It is transliterated in foreign languages as “ss” and is always pronounced like an English voiceless “s” but the name literally means “sz” despite its pronunciation.

This is based on the 95 or 96 Impala/ Caprice as the mirrors are in the corner of the door glass. The 91 through 94 Caprice had the mirrors mounted on the door skins. The 2 colors besides black on the Impala SS are dark cherry metallic and dark green grey metallic. I owned a 94 Caprice Classic LS from 1999 to 2015. Can't wait to replicate my car in the game.

US didn't actually use the inpala SS version for law enforcement they use its twin counterpart the caprice Version.
Unfortunately, even if it's based on the Impala SS, I think it should've had options to make it look like the Caprice, and police package stuff, I still made mine a police package build, it looks good.
Every time I customize a car I always go to your video where you customize it after to make sure I didn't put something on my car that you think looks terrible or that doesn't belong on the car 😂

Dark Green Grey Metallic aka DGGM is real name for that dark green. Iykyk
Classic Grill is the Caprice Classic.
And the closest looking rims for my Caprice build for the SZ are the Triple Golds with chrome, because those were the standard rims for the car.

If you are doing a review at night the train diner up near the 50 car garage is all floodlit in the rear carpark and works well for showing cars off at night.

I wasn't crazy about the outrageous options. I just went stock with the Classic Grille in a Light Blue. I was also hoping for being able to put on those plastic black add-ons to the bumpers.

The fact that they put this in the sedans class, but put the Impaler LX in the muscle class, and made that the faster car is just 🤦
They're definitely holding back all the GTA 6 customisation options, most probably because it's not compatible with this game. But hey that's a good thing since GTA 6 will feel more fresh if we have more new content to play with rather than having already experienced everything in GTA Online. I could easily see that Impala being a Donk style car which isn't really possible in GTA 5. They don't have lift kits and wheel size customisation for example.
