Với thời tiết se lạnh ở miền tây bắc nước Mỹ, làm mình thèm được ăn một tô cháo lòng được bán vào mỗi buổi sáng ở chợ quê miền Tây Việt Nam. Cháo lòng là món ăn nấu từ gạo kết hợp với nước ngọt từ nước luộc thịt heo, huyết heo, thêm một ít tôm khô, ăn kèm dồi, chéo quẩy và rau thơm.
With the cold weather in the northwestern United States, it makes me crave a bowl of congee sold every morning at the rural market in Western Vietnam. Pork congee is a dish cooked from rice combined with fresh water pork broth, pork blood, a little dried shrimp, served with sausage, fried dough stick and herbs.
