Cassien part 2

Nice couple of vids Kevin, brings back great memorys of carp fishing at Cassein back in the 80s, im living in Australia nowdays, but remember the excitement going to Cassein for the first time on Regents coach trip, blanking the week..... it was a hard place to fish just doing days. A second trip down their i managed to land a couple, and loosing a huge catfish after being towed arround the north arm for nearly 2 hours. I remember Johny Allen getting that huge catfish a bit later on....
A very special place in carpfishing history.
Really the 80s was a great time in carpfishing, CAA mettings, the start of the Carp Society, for me fishing Darenth Tip lake catching BB at 32Lb, used to also go to Layer pits .
A few of my mates and i did a trip to Lake Bled when it was the former Yugoslavia, that was a great adventure. Pioneering times.
Then a whisper about the River Lot, off we went again...... great memories,

Brilliant and Thankyou for now and then. I went out there in. 88. And yeh. Got lucky. With a 48 lb. didn’t know at the time but. We were set up. Opposite. Your point. Great days for me. As I never got to do it again. As I was on broadlands at the time. And the sindicate. Finished. So did I. With life. Hey ho. Back in the game now. Cheers mate.

Brings back so many memories of before Carp fishing become so commercial. I was one of the weirdo’s ! You could fish a lake for a week and wouldn’t see another Carp angler. Very good days
