      @@brandonpacheco6125 The first thing they’re going to have you do is turn on the light and turn signals to test them before you do anything so don’t get nervous. Focus on the brake test, don’t forget to set the 1 minute timer cause that’s where almost everyone fails. When you’re on the road and are turning a corner, don’t be afraid to step on the lines on your side what’s important is that you don’t clip the curve. Also don’t step on the line when coming to a stop sign, that’s a automatic fail. Do a full stop and tell instructor you will inch forward to get a better view before moving if you can’t see incoming traffic. Good Luck you got this, if I passed mine you sure can pass yours 👍

      I chewed a fat piece of gum when I took my CDL exam. I swear the piece pretty much dissolved into a liquid when I was finished LOL. Just remember to …. Breath calmly. You’ll do fine. Worst case you have to come back in two weeks and repeat. I’m pretty sure the B class exam is cumulative like the A class. In other words if you pass your in-cab but fail the yard maneuvers you won’t have to take the in-cab portion a second time. Same goes with if you fail the road test. You won’t have to repeat the in-cab or the yard maneuvers …. Just the road test has to be repeated. Much luck to you. :) Please comment again and let me know how you did!

I will give the gum a try for sure! =) I’ve been watching a ton of videos on class B pre trips, the air brakes leak test, straight line backing, off set, and parallel parking maneuvers, as well as trying to watch road test videos. I even have a job lined up if I pass, so that’s a bit of stress added to the table so to say lol, I will definitely check back in and let you know how it went, praying the examiner doesn’t try to pull and April fools joke and say I failed..We shall see 🤞🏻😊

      @@hectorfernandez6748 I highly recommend you look into Kreilkamp Trucking. They have a terminal in Edison NJ and Allenton WI. They have a terrific training program for new CDL graduates. They are also a second chance company for those with certain MVR or background issues. Presently they are starting at .49 cpm (which is a damn good starting rate for a new CDL) and have local-regional work in Northern NJ. Owner-ops is a solid career choice but don’t even consider it without at least one year of experience. @@hectorfernandez6748 Nice job! You will begin your pretrip with the In-Cab part and then you will have to do 2 out of 3 possible sections on the outside. 1) Under the hood 2) Couplings which includes the 5th wheel and air lines 3) Trailer.
      * Important to note is that the couplings are almost ALWAYS included as part of the pretrip test so it’s a coin flip as to whether you will have to do Engine or Trailer.
      When I took my test I had to do what’s called Form-A and Form-B which means Engine compartment (form A) and Couplings (form B). Form-C = Trailer. You will either have to do Form A and B or you will do Form B and C. But Form-B (coupling) is always going to be one of them.

    i previously took my drivers test on a course ( in a parking lot) but i failed the parallel parking. Cherry hill is the only appointment i could make that did have me wait 4 months. i’m not from around there and my instructor never told me about the things you need to do in the road test. If you are taking this in a car do you still need to say the height and stuff for going under bridges? i’m just scared bc this is not what i prepared for

    • @Bazzner
      @Bazzner  Před 2 lety +1

      The video is filmed from a car but it is the actual test you will take for your CDL at the Cherry Hill location. Yes, you must call out each and every bridge height you encounter. You must talk about the railroad sign that you’ll see at the very beginning of the road test as well.
      In Cherry Hill, you will either do the parallel park or the 90 degree alley dock. You won’t get both. You will always do the straight back and offset maneuvers. If you memorize and repeat exactly what I mention in this road test you will be fine.
      In the near future I intend to film the yard maneuvers and a pretrip as well. Let me know how you do? Good luck!
