Little late for this content. I get it’s the big time in baseball but you can’t just throw everything at the wall for a week when they haven’t done squat for practically over 3 months
Absolutely agree with your final point. I just don't see them actually doing it. I fully expect them to continue season 3 back to 89s as they planned which means I'll go back to not caring about the cards being released in the last few weeks of this season and have no motivation to grind s3 cards afterwards as well.
baseball is really the only sport that interests me to watch or play or pay attention to really so for me the game is playable even with trash content bc i love baseball enough but ive been actually looking forward to using chip and griffy 99s while theyre good so the other day when i hit the daily xp cap i started a hardcore minecraft world and im genuinely having so much more fun playing minecraft than the show because minecrafts actually had good updates since i played 8 years ago and its fun again
moral of the story is go start ur own minecraft world

The only concern I have is that this is all they have. All these IRL events going on makes it easy for them to plan an overload of content around them. After that, what else?
It's all good that they're finally doing something... But I play like 4-5 hrs weekly and it's mainly br/events so by the time I chip away at this stuff it's likely they'll just be taken away my ability to use these cards anyway. I've kind've accepted I'm not going to grind like season 1 and I won't get chipper/Jeter... And it's fine I'll just chip away at whatever with no urgency

Sadly I don’t think they will scrap seasons. Season 3 will come out and hopefully they will make an adjustment and give us 95-97s. If it’s 89s then idk what I’m gonna do cause the start of season two was so rough losing everyone on my team. I haven’t played ranked since the end of season 1. I hope they listen to the community because I love this game.

Looks cool.. its something different which is good,, but still need to wither do away with seasons... or really fix it , id be cool with the whole set and seas thing if we got to use 5 99s ,, 3 hitters, and 1 sp and 1 cp and the power creep needs to start at 90 and as high as 95 depending what season it is,

Also, I believe in one of the early livestreams, they mentioned that Season 4 was the first to open up to all cards.

Hey OhChev, I have a thought for you. You should do ranked co-op with other content creators or a partner you could rely on to play consistently. I always play co-op ranked with my buddy more than solo ranked because there are no set requirements in co-op which in my opinion is more fun.
If you run into a glitched game which is more rare compared to last years co-op mode, you can surrender and get no penalty time.
Thoughts?

Nah sorry, 95s for ASG players doesn't do anything for me. The ASG was always when the first 99s came out and the game ramped up in fun. I'm not grinding for cards that will be replaced in 3 weeks by the next TA chapter. I'll play the content this weekend for something to do until NCAA drops and then this game gets uninstalled.
Season 2 is so bad and was such a kick in the nuts there is no way Season 3 is 89’s again still think seasons wasn’t too bad last year being able to use the current season plus the last season cards they might go back to that🤞🤞

There’s nothing wrong with having Team Affinitiy. It just shouldn’t be the bulk of the content. There are so many ways they could change TA, captains, wild cards, sets, season and collections. So many. But they hardly explore any of them. So we get the game we get.
I have really high hopes. Please don’t let us down SDS.
Am I the only one who likes the resets to 89s? 😂😂😂 I love the team building up aspect of team builder modes
Its just not fun when you build that amazing team and you only get to use it for one week

My question is do they give Bobby and Gunnar two cards this weekend? They both deserve a 99/97 for their first half, but them being in the derby scares me that we will just get derby cards
Adley Rutschman got 2 cards at the start of season 3 last year. No one really cared because Homerun derby cards aren’t usable anyways.

In years past I would be ready for all this but now I just don’t care anymore. The sets and seasons just killed off my interest and the same boring grind doesn’t help.

Yeh I really hope they scrap the sets and seasons. It didn't work. Nice idea and was cool to try it out but for me it didn't work. I'm only able to play so often and it's not fun working towards cards with the little time you have just for them to be gone next season.

People are still here because the truth is we want this damn game to be good. Every year, I want it to be good, it will always be my default goto UT game because in years past it's always been the most fair UT game and we love baseball.
Sets and seasons and the content drops are just putting a magnifying glass on the real issues. The stale game modes.

No it can't because for the last two weeks Ive earned no XP towards the reward path and stopped playing the game. At level 7 of season 2 xp reward path because of this bug. If I uninstall and reinstall the game will it mess with my Season 1 squad?
Had this issue after playing HR derby. Uninstalled then reinstalled and had no problems afterwards.
So? Then they rip the content from you after this season so… what’s the point?
The All-Star update does sound intriguing but I feel it’s too little too late. Ive lost almost all interest in the game this year which I never imagined would happen. And dont see myself going back to the pointless grind of this year.
You know they won't just get rid of seasons. They def should but it won't happen

I don’t think you should entirely scrap seasons. It is nice that we get a seasons reward path. I do like how in rank that every two weeks they release the rest of the ranked program. Maybe if they 1 seasons reward path. And then released new content every two weeks. To give you that time to get it. Maybe it could save the game.

Huh? How is it copy paste? The game has been in development for almost five years and strictly for next gen consoles. Have you seen literally anything EA has posted about CFB25? Do you see any of it in Madden? Yes, there will be similar animations. It's still football after all. But the game is most definitely not looking like the trash that Madden has been for years. Madden will be copying features from CFB, not the other way around.

I'm getting into a custom league now. That's the only way I'm playing this game now. I'm done with DD
