Yes but now we get the pleasure of selling this gem to the world. When you put this on, and you see the person get that long stare... then they ask if you can turn it up a little.. yea man I can...

39 here, I remember when this album came out and how simply amazing it was. 21, going to shows and living life like it was an endless carnival. I miss those days of innocence and wonder.
Talk about a slap in the face with nostalgia. I'm 37 years old and I have the same pit in my stomach when I listened to it in high school after a bad break up. Wow.
Wow same here girl! I was dumped by the love of my life around the time this album came out and holy shit did it help me get through it! I would blast it on my speakers in my car and just sing my lungs out to it. The nostalgia is real! 💔
I’m 44 and I remember listening to finch a lot, esp when this album came out, the lead singers voice resonates with his poignant lyrics. I split up with my ex wife about 8 years ago and I used this song to ease the pain. I’ve moved on now and I have 3 amazing kids and a beautiful wife. To any one feeling pain. Life gets easier. Give it time and focus on the good things.. use this music to make you stronger! This song will be with me till I die! Brilliant tune. 👏👏
Lighting a candle for the 17 year old me. Before I had Internet. Just sat in my room listening to these records thinking about this very moment I'd look back on it. Well done you, we're kinda doing ok. 🕯
I discovered Finch in either freshman or sophomore year, so 2002 or 03, on the Atticus Dragging the Lake compilation. They were very much my stepping stone from pop punk and emo into metal. I must have played this album over 80 times. I used to have the deluxe edition with the wooden box and the zippo
@@Goldenaxeandsonicallday oh man you're all on the right track, most of the people in these comments are my age(i'm 33) and you woulda been in my friend group in school and college, enjoy the music :D
This album was fucking perfect. I was at the lowest point of my life after my dad died, I got divorced and was sexually assaulted. This album was there. I think it saved my life.
Me and my buddies used to scream this song at 3 am while sitting in a car, or at a party, or in someones garage. Im 38 now and those were the best nights of my life.
28 years old now but I haven't forgotten about this song. That singer must be old by now. It's been a while. Almost 11 years since I first listened to this song. so beautiful ❤❤❤❤ Yes, I was only 17 years old Fell in love with a beautiful Emo girl back in the days but I never had the guts to talk to her. Way tooooo beautiful.. my whole body would start shaking whenever I saw her walking close to me.
35 years old and this album not only takes me back but fills me the same emotion from all those years ago, such an important album in my life and the same for many others, and now we get to express our love for it together and seeing so many people that feel the same way about this band and this album is incredibly warming and shows how many of us are not alone and go through similar experiences in out lives. You're all awesome x
Next to Siamese Dream, In Utero, Achtung Baby and a few others I'm forgetting this is one of the greatest albums ever recorded in the history of humanity.
Can't believe it! I loved this song so much when it first came out but had forgotten it over the years and have spent the last three years trying to remember and find it! The wonderful things you find when you go down the rabbit hole that is suggested videos on CZcams

37 and YUP. Here’s a little funny story about Finch. After they played a small local club when I was maybe 16 their bus pulled up to a red light on this side street where my friends and I had been hanging out. I was the only one who had come from there show. One of the guys jumps off the bus totally naked and started twirling his… ahem… at us. My friend not to be undone dropped his pants and started do do the helicopter as well. Totally random. No reason. We always hung out at that spot but they didn’t know so probably assumed we’d all come from the show. Anyway, I look up at the tour bus while the helicoptering is happening and Nate is sitting in the window, head against the window pane, watching but looking SO Fucking sad. Like dude had to have just been dumped hard. I’ve never forgotten the look on his face. I I waved and smiled and gave him the peace sign and he looked almost startled then smiled and gave it back. I’ve never forgotten and always wondered what was hurting him so badly that night.
Matt Hessing just play this in the firebird it's sure to get her warm..all the girls in glasses they just like wanna get in the firebird or f150 with this jam
35 now, still believe this was the best period of my life. I’d never get it back but i’ll always cherish the memories.
