Electric Sunsets Marella Voyager Day 2 | Vengaboys | Beetlejuice | Barcelona

- Hi everyone!
On this week's Electric Sunsets Cruise on Marella Voyager vlog we arrive in Barcelona. We have bacon and sausage barms in The Kitchens, we loved these and had them the following two mornings too! We then had a walk around the very empty pool deck, it was quite refreshing up there.
After a refresh and nap in the cabin we make our way into Barcelona. Our plan was to get a sangria on Las Ramblas and a burger of some kind and we achieved this! We got the metro to Catalunya and had a very authentic Five Guys for our dinner! This went down a treat. We then carried on a walk down Las Ramblas taking in the sights and had our very expensive jug of sangria! We saw the human statue street performers which always impress us! We then decided to walk back to the port, it took about 40 minutes but we liked the walk and was good seeing the #marellacruises ship from here.
We went to freshen up in the cabin and we had our first towel animal which was exciting! We then went to the afternoon tea in The Kitchens which was buffet style. It was ok but nothing too special but good to try it. We then somehow managed to get a sun lounger up on the deck and had some drinks listening to the music, then a interactive game/music quiz started where you had to name the song and artist quickest with the pool deck split into two teams. It was a good atmosphere for this.
We then found the Summer House which was a bar with a large outdoor seating section too, we sat here for a while until we started to sail away. We really liked it in here and the inside part decor was cool and liked the glass roof. We then watched sail away and said goodbye to MSC and Norwegian Viva. We then Finally made it to Kevin and Perry's sail away party. This was really fun and the start of another great night of entertainment on board. We had a quick bite to eat at The Pastry Crust, we both got the 'ham hock' pie with mash and gravy. We both really disliked this I'm not sure why we didn't film it but the inside of this pie was just cubes of ham and nothing else so we left that.
It was then time to get ready for this evening's theme which was Retro Movie Madness and we went as Beetlejuice and Lydia from Beetlejuice. We were really happy with how the costumes turned out and we had lots if photos, especially Dane! We catch a bit of the Definitely Oasis tribute in the Squid and Anchor before going out to the pool deck to watch the Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow tribute. They were both fantastic and really looked and sounded the part, we were very impressed!
It was then time for the headliners of the cruise The Vengaboys! This was so much fun we really enjoyed hearing all the hits like Boom Boom Boom Boom and We're Going to Ibiza! This was a highlight of the cruise! After this we met Dan Budd who was the Robbie tribute and had a photo. We then went to The Electric Rooms for the 90s v 00s club night and had some more drinks! It was really well themed in here.
We finished the night in Nonna's with some late night pizza which was so good especially as we were drunk haha We even signed the video off the same day, some say it couldn't be done! We really loved the experience and excitement all around the ship it was a brilliant second day. The atmosphere really was electric! We can't wait to share more of the #cruisevlogs with you!

What a super fun video!!! Aaahhh Barcelona… so beautiful!! I LOVE a good burger. That cruise looks like so much fun and would be one I would like to try. Wow!! You’ll look great! Those costumes are awesome!! Laura you did an awesome job!!! We take the stairs because health…. Lol. Looks like you’ll went “out out” and had a great time. The music brings back so many memories. Dane, hopefully the rings around your eyes disappeared quickly.

It’s like nothing else this cruise if you ever get chance I’d say do it it’s a non stop fun experience haha thanks so much we were really happy with how the costumes turned out and want to dress up like it again 😂 oh yeah we had definitely been out out 😂 surprised we made it back to the room haha thankfully the day after they had reduced a lot and by the end of that day couldn’t notice them anymore! Been very lazy with comments recently but have loved everything from Blackpool to Alton Towers and now the 80s 90s Marella cruise, we were just as bad in Barcelona KFC opposite the Sagrada. We were more worried about your phone getting swiped on the Las Ramblas restaurant table than the bill. Your costumes were incredible and so were Take That but quite possibly the outro was the most pissed yet and we loved it, definitely looked like 2 black eyes Dane, did Laura beat you up after pizza? Just booked for Phantasialand and Cologne this Christmas, must rewatch your videos from there.
