Thank you! I made one longer to hold two dozen pencils. Your instructions are perfect, and all anyone has to do to add more pencils is increase the width one inch or 2.5 cm per pencil. This is useful for anyone who has pencils that need organizing, and a little planning would be all that's needed if it's for pens or markers of other sizes. For crayons, you can make a shorter pocket. If you make it larger, you will need a longer ribbon. I forgot to sew in a ribbon, but found that a hair scrunchie works great.

A thousand thankyous from England. You have been so inspirational to me in my new endeavour of making baby and child gifts. I have made four "animal cuddle pillows" . Like the "bed sitters" you made but softer. I invented a sheep but if you have one I would love to know, mine is average at best. I have just made a back pack with patchwork fabric and the face of the bed sitter pup flat on the front pocket, it's ace.
I will make sure to "pay it forward" for the good fortune I had in finding you, cheers, Mandy ❤️

Lisa, my sewing group did this project. We modified the size (7x17) and instead of a tie, we used hair scrunchies or bands. (had them leftover from making face masks). Donated to a local homeless shelter.

These are great to have. I made one for my fabric scissors, fabric pens, rotary cutter and cutting scissors. You can customize them to your needs. They keep your work station more organized, and IF, you put your tools away, you will find them when you need them.

I made one of these tonight for my daughter for her birthday. She loves planners and has all kinds of pens. I'm hoping she loves it. It's full of kittens which will help. :D

Thank you for sharing this lovely easy and simple pencil roll project. (I had to convert from metric as all my rulers are in inches but that was okay). Two young grandsons will be receiving these as gifts this year.
