What's the Deal with Topps Chrome Blasters?

What is up Ya'll!! We finally found some 2024 Topps Chrome blaster boxes at our local Target and picked up three to show YOU everything there is to know about this format and if it is worth your hard earned cash.
Each blaster box costs $40 and comes with seven packs, four cards per pack for a total of 28 cards. You also get one Raywave, two pink refractors, and two sepia refractors per box on average.
These blasters were... okay. Maybe. We definitely hit a lot of nice rookies in parallels but it somehow left me (not the kid, he disagrees) wanting more. What do you think of our pulls? Let us know in the comments.
Getting down to our ratings, we rate the blasters a 7 out of 10 for rippability. At this price tag, we want to see at least ONE numbered hit coming out of three boxes, am I right?
For value, we rate these an 6.5 out of 10. The pinks and sepias are cool and Raywaves will definitely be collectible... but first you have to hit with these parallels. If you get a box with all vets, it can make it rather an easy way to burn $40.
This was our first taste of retail blasters and we aren't sure if we will do more. Maybe a Monster vs Blaster box battle, let us know if you'd like to see that in the comments.
