Ford Falcon XA GT Coupe Restoration! (Genuine JG66)

- This genuine XA GT had full bare metal ground up restoration,
body completely disassembled and stripped,
Engine and gear box removed, full bells and whistle restoration less the rotisserie,
body was in poor shape, and required a lot of fabrication work,
lots of rust removed and replaced with new steel,
then PPG epoxy primer, followed by filler, then PPG polyester, followed with PPG High fill primer,
Blocked numerous times for a perfect base to except PPG clear over base 2K wild violet, then baked at 60C in the oven,
Flattened back polished to a glass gloss, and reassembled to finish.

Ya Never realise how big a coupe is until you have to paint one .Paint is incredible you have done your self proud , top job !

Same as my old ride back in the 90s. I miss that's car still today bought her for 17k and was in great condition had 650 hp 351 clevo. If only I had a crystal ball 😂 XA all the way👍👍awesome job congratulations.
