It was clearly not working before Harden got there. Harden brings a slower more conventional pace and space offense that makes sure all the shots are distributed equally. Russ is the Chaos King. Both of these cards are most effective when used in tandem at different intervals on the battlefield.

Once The Suns made their halftime adjustments, Big Zu had to be taken off the floor so The Clippers could continue to play with the same pace they were playing with in the 1st half. Slowing things down and trying to get the ball inside was a strategic error. Also with The Suns going small it hurt The Clippers defense as well. They still won but Coach Lue has to read the game better and make quicker decisions.
