I think Corny uses US figures to prove his points.
Problem is that with the worldwide audience, then WWE's claim of this being the biggest WrestleMania match ever could very well be factually correct.
Living in South Africa, there was no way to view WrestleMania live back then, not even for Austin/Rock. With all the international deals they've been making, I'm pretty sure WWE has much much more eyes on their lives product than ever before - they've expanded heavily in both India and China, the two biggest countries in terms of population numbers.
Now, for stature and historical relevance, I don't think you can beat either Hogan/Andre and Austin/Rock, but when it comes to total eyeballs on the product around the globe? This WrestleMania will take the cake.

Having security people on hand for the signing can be somewhat rationalized by Brock & Roman being the 2 heavyweight champions of the entire company, so security would be called in to protect the promotion's investment in their upcoming fight.
This falls apart once the security become Roman's goons, but in initial presentation, it is kind of understandable.

one of the things forgotten is
we have a larger population than we did in the
1980s. and worldwide (not just in America)
WWE is being broadcast all around the world more
on ppv, internet etc alot more than it had in
    2001.
so it's feasable that this will be the biggest
mania ever by default, just as the viewership
has spread over larger population areas.
I doubt any of us know the true WWE ratings
    trend of lets
say India 1990s-2020 to now? or Indonesia?
But it's likely in alot more homes today than it
    was.
fans only think about the popularity of
    the product in America.

@Shut Up I actually agree with you. I was only stating the reality of the situation TODAY. It's the same paradigm in AEW... and those guy's have a lot more room for creativity. Circling back to the initial argument that Reigns vs Brock is stale because the rest of the card is meh. I'm simply saying it's not going to bother me one bit that Drew or Big E lack direction. Why let that take away from the best match on the card.

Even though both have done 180's in terms on they're characters since they met and it's a fresh fued. I just don't understand people like you. You let your frustrations with booking get in the way of enjoying the good stuff. The reality is all those guy's you mentioned aside from maybe Rollins don't have it and they are portrayed as less then because they are less then. Your downplaying how good Reigns and Brock really are. That's why they get the bulk of creative behind them.
