🇷🇺🇺🇦 The SCO seems poised for cooperative ventures among its members. One hopes that the cooperation extends to entities that are outside SCO. As I wrote in a letter to the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, we are all children of history and so must, to a certain extent, accept the present situation as it was handed down to us by history. Otherwise, there will always be endless conflict.
I understand leader Putin’s ire at the ( peaceful) breakup of the Soviet Union. I understand his desire to restore the lost territories of the USSR. But the tragic bloodshed involved in the quote unquote special military operations makes it a doubtful objective not worth the sacrifice.
