    I don't realistically see it happening at all but i'd love to see the 49ers throw interest at Bill for DC along with even more at Vrabel.. As much as I dislike Pete Carroll as a 49er fan I think he would be the most flawless fit for the personnel we have and with his age it might be a good fit where he's willing to give up some power to still coach a top defense? Any of these guys would be a HUGE upgrade though.

    Mike Vrabel should do what Dan Quinn did. Be the DC to Dallas, which will have a good defense. So his name will still be out there. Love'em or hate'em Dallas has the spotlight every year. Next season, some people are going to start using excuses on why they shouldn't hire them. And with other coordinators getting a shot. It starts getting harder to get a spot.

    9:25 That’s exactly what Washington should have done this year, but they’re too stupid. Now this clown comes in and has a Nathaniel Hackett season and they’re back at square one next year. So glad to see another five years of stupidity and mediocrity. /s

  • @iamthem.a.n.middleagednerd1053

    I look at Bill Belichick the way I look at Phil Jackson. They're good coaches. They have a great knowledge and passion of the game. They just got lucky. Phil Jackson got coach Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'Neal. Belichick got to coach Tom Brady, Gronk, Adam Vinatieri, Tedy Bruschi, Randy Moss, Julian Edelman, Wes Welker, ect. When you get a bunch of generational talents on your team, you're going to win games.
    There's a lot of coaches out there who never get to have a Michael Jordan or a Tom Brady on their team, and they figure out a way to win games with the limited talent that they have (Dan Campbell comes to mind).

    The media doesn't want to admit it but NFL execs seem to see what a lot of fans see...when Brady wasn't Belichick's QB, Belichick didn't have good teams. Teams don't want to bring in a coach that old who appears to be an average coach who's going to get them to mediocrity at best for a couple years before retiring.

  • @lampini
    @lampini Před 6 měsíci

    I think a big issue is I don't think bill would be content with just being HC and would try and make roster moves like he was still GM. But Bill isn't a good GM, he never was one. He was able to lean on brady his entire career to make up for his bad picks and made his good picks stand out more. I think Bill is simply too old and people are starting to realize Bill isn't as complete of a head coach as we all thought. He's a phenomenal defensive mind but he needs someone else to take control of the offense
