  • Hello there!
I am Annie, a homeschooling mama with seven kids. We’re entering our 10th year of homeschooling this year, and I couldn’t be more excited by the direction our school is heading into. My heart’s desire is to raise life-long learners, and I feel that reading and interacting with quality literature and living books is vital to this goal.
    Thanks for watching!

Thank you for such helpful curriculum information! I found you through your HOD videos. I’m curious, are you still using HOD or have you switched over to other curriculum such as TQ? Thank you!

Thanks for this video! I love truth quest but I am overwhelmed by it. I need to teach the second half of history. I went through it and choose the books that looked positive and available at my library. Do you add in any craft or recipes? I was thinking of adding in the craft book from biblioplan.

No I have not done anything except read and discuss with my kids. And we notebook once a week. That’s what seems to work for us anyway ☺️

I have this on my list for a future history resource. Excited to see how you plan this out.
In general how far in advance to you plan all your subjects? Do you do yearly panning? I'm struggling to much with planning right now.
    Thanks Annie 🙂

I like to plot things out for the whole year so that I have a general working strategy. Then I try to figure out how much work we need to do each week so that we can realistically finish things when I want to end the year. My plans are always subject to change or flex as the year goes on, but I do have to have some sort of projection so I know where we stand in the school year or in a particular curriculum.

      @@AnnieSmithawifenmother Thank you!
Do you have any videos or plan on making any that shows more of your long term process?
