Wrote this earlier today after listening to some Willi Carlisle lol. Sorry about not uploading a lot recently. I’ve come to the realization that I’m really bad at recording with a metronome so putting my stuff on Spotify is actually kind of difficult, but lmk if yall want me to just rip what I have from CZcams and use that audio in an album instead of re-recording everything.
Anyways, hope you liked the song about broken down skate parks and culverts. I’m just doing G and C on capo II, and the little lick is mainly just a walk down on the second fret. I’m 99% sure the lick is from somewhere else but I can’t figure it out. If someone recognizes it please tell me. Here are the lyrics:

I feel the metronome issue you're having with recording for spotify lol. Idk if it helps at all, but when I record my stuff, I record the most important instrument (usually banjo or bariuke for me, probably guitar for you) and nothing else to the metronome, and I use the metronome as a guide more than a hard timer, meaning I don't give up after I fall off-beat one time, I just try to play it off and fall back into time. Then, I turn the metronome off and record all other tracks *to* that first instrument. It's harder than youd think to notice small inconsistencies in tempo when there's no omnipresent "perfect" beat in the background and all the instruments are playing off-tempo at the same time.
This is just kind of my way of simulating following the tempo of a lead player in a small group, which is what im most familiar with. Fantastic song btw
