    Being an online FinTree student, I can appreciate the difference between the edited and raw content. While edited is less time consuming, raw content give a lot better understanding and is much more fun. Please keep up with raw content going forward. Throughly enjoyed this video. It might be a good idea to have both the options available for the online students and let them decide what they would like to access according to their time budget. 👍🏻

    Great initiative! I always wanted it to be unedited so that we who are learning online can better understand the topic with important concepts being dealt more than once. I also liked the way how you actually repeat the questions of the students before giving your explanations.

    : You inspire us. .. to perspire and aspire to be better at what we are doing (CFA) . This video and each of your classes, Resonates that. This is my thought after watching the video.
    Simple, clear and concept well explained. Instills a lot of hope amongst students who have a stigma attached to Quants.

    Sir, first of all my best wishes for exploring this idea of raw unedited videos. Both edited as well as raw versions have their own benefits. However, as a student, I feel, raw videos will be more useful to watch for the first time (may be couple of times also) when we start studying any LOS/topic area. This will give us an opportunity to grasp the content and underlying concepts in a detailed manner and in spirit. This also gives an atmosphere of a classroom for online students. Once, the student is thorough with the concept, he/she can anytime fast forward the videos for the part, he/she is comfortable with from understanding perspective.
    Best Wishes
    Pankaj

    Please keep both available that is raw and edited. Means if we have to go back for specific content for quick revision edited videos will help in better way. For first time learners raw videos are good.

    @Hamsadhwanifamily Před 5 lety

    Hello Utkarsh, I would be lying if I said I was not looking forward to unedited version of your videos. The only flipside I see is the length, in my case I would revisit videos to search for specific sections that I need clarity on while solving problems. I see this version compounding that problem. If you can figure out indexing sections of the classroom sessions perhaps by LOS, that would solve the problem I faced.

    The trade off between longer videos and information added might not be helpful for students starting their studies considerably later than classroom students. For example an online student who starts the CFA Curriculum in March might not have enough time to follow all raw video lectures. In general, compared to edited videos, how munch longer are raw videos?
    Alternatively, raw videos with a "skip to" capacity might be helpful - i.e. when there is a classroom discussion away from core material and and online student does not want to participate (possibly due to lack of time or understanding of concept) and wants to move on.
