  • After having such a great time on our Miami Mojito Tour, we decided to pack up the the little kids and hit Miami Beach for another full day, just to sample the much-hyped Miami food scene. We talked to locals and rounded up a handful of the top Miami restaurants and then walked our way through South Beach to sample them all. So grab a napkin and let's dig into our Miami Beach food and travel vlog for 2022.
In this episode, we start off at Taquiza with some grasshopper tacos, tasty Miami margaritas, and the most delicious blue corn masa chips you'll ever try. From there, we walk to South Beach, Miami, where we grab a quick break at South Pointe Tavern for some cool-off cocktails, Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen for the best Israeli food we’ve ever eating, the legendary Joe’s for some stone crab claws, and Macchialina for some Italian food that takes us back to our recent Florence food tours.

    ABOUT US.
We’re the Lockwoods: a family with 3 kids, 5 careers, and endless passion for adventure. Two years ago, we decided it was time for Phil's ad agency to abandon the in-person, 5-day workweek. So they 86’d the office and work hours, allowing our own family to start traveling almost constantly. We now work, school, and explore in a different place every week-from our own mountain and beach homes to exotic villas, resorts, and yachts around the world. As we experience and support diverse cultures, we hope to inspire more families to design a life of freedom and adventure.
Because there’s a new American Dream. It’s one that’s void of templated expectations, templated career paths, templated education, templated families, templated homes, and templated lives. Freedom is no longer an American tagline-it’s just the new, global way of life.
Every day that you spend doing something that doesn’t fulfill you to your core, you’re living your life on pause. You’re deferring genuine family time with no guarantee that there will be a tomorrow or a someday. Some people follow that mentality their entire lives. We’ve chosen to never live that way again.
We appreciate you following our journey. The more our channel grows, the more time we can spend traveling to more locations, contributing to these cultures, highlighting local businesses, and sharing inspiring stories from these communities. So please consider liking, commenting, and subscribing so that you can stick with us for the long haul.

husband still around - grasshoppers ? good for fishing, eating your plants, keeping you awake at night with their chirping - but as people food - never never never.
( I do believe that there is no food in the world, no matter how gross to some (me) that some one won't eat.) My Filipino wife surprises me all the time.

Everything in this one was todo perfecto... standout food for me was definitely the hummus, and for drink, that minty one, actually they all looked fantastic. I would have sucked the juice out of that prawn head, and maybe even eaten the whole thing hehe. Watching Colt's face when Phil was talking crab, was funny I gotta admit. Fun stuff fam, thank you!

Hi! That hummus was absolutely incredible. First time we've ever been totally blown away by Middle Eastern food, but it was the hands-down winner for the entire day. We still need to master this crustatean-head-sucking process 😂😂 Great to hear from you!

Phil double dipped his falafel!! Joes stone crab has the best key lime pie.I also prefer the smallest crab claws, I find the meat to be tastier.

😂 nice catch! Yes, we think the smaller ones are a little sweeter. Big ones are impressive tho.

I literally French kiss the person I was sharing falafel with. Doesn’t count. 😊

Husband again, Some times when I am watching your shows, and I am not following what you are eating, i start watching in detail what is going on around you,
especially what the kids might be doing or looking at.. Detail, time 4:04 - pause show, your wife's wedding ring - looks like what our son gave his wife, 2 cts. ? but it
stands up so tall I always wonder if she doesn't snag it on her clothes. I hope Erin didn't wear that while walking around the Ph. My wife forgot one time while in a not
so safe market place. Diamond neckless, gold chain, she felt a grab at the back of her neck - she caught the diamond but the gold chain was gone. Usually kids working
for older folks. Kids will not be arrested, no threat to them. You mentioned pick pockets in one show. We never wear anything flashy (now) in the PH. Keep safe.

The ring has such unique setting, it’s three prongs that doesn’t seem to snag on anything. We didn’t take it to the Philippines because my (Erin) hands have shrunk a little and it’s been fitting too loosely. I’m not wearing it when I know I’ll be pretty active.
