Very nice, but we need to new remote also to work with the insta360 x3. Then you have an excellent remote control for both the ace pro as well as the x3 camera

GPS Preview remote is a must have great video
Pretty good. Wish it had better than 20m control range. The other remote is too big but has decent range
The clamp looks good, as have had some loosen off and slip over rough terrain, though the weakness has always been the X3 unscrewing itself. Managed to lose mine once running across moorland. Luckily I backtracked and found it, but it was over 500 m back across the moor. I had the X3 mounted on the InstaSelfie stick but strapped inside my backpack. The pole was still in my bag, it was the camera that had shook loose. It's my only worry with the X3 and using it on rough terrain. Cheers for the video insights though.

Does the remote work to start the camera when the camaera is off. Imagine riding with camera out of accessibility on a stick and you decide to start recording straight away. Will it work?
I found a delay whulie using my iPhone as a remote...no delay with the Insta 360 remote?
I am interested in buying the ace pro with the remote. Is the GPS preview remote control waterproof? If I get caught in the rain while I’m out riding, will it damage the unit?

What i dont like is the charging method. It should have been directly type-c. Older gps was using typec
The previous GPS remote would reset the GPS data with each new video clip. Plus the X3 records for 29 minutes before automatically saving the clip, and starting a new one and again the GPS data is reset. So it's really challenging to record a trip longer than 29 minutes. Does this remote do the same thing?
Was that a problem of the X3 or the remote? X4 can record longer, I do over an hour regurlary when doing streetview recordings

At the moment I think it’s only compatible with the ace and ace pro because of that new processor! Updates no doubt coming soon

My questions for this video :
- is the gps more precise then f.e. my iphone 13
- is it much bigger then the action remote
- can I save 50 euro and use my iphone for viewing the live image and just go for the action remote
- do I really want to save 50 euro or instead just spend it and go for the complete package of the preview and have something that is better in each and every way and avoid having to hold or install my Iphone in hand/on bike........ please convince me.
Observation : 1:20 connected by bluetooth and still fast preview...... can it do wifi? Would that be faster?
Little things : as it comes with a wrist band.... can it be a bit of a smartwatch? It would be great if you can connect it to some kind of navigation app that let's you know when to make a turn as an overlay message to the normal function.

The remote is further away from you than the camera....
Insta360 has confirmed that if you add GPS to any 4k footage on the phone app you can only export in a maximum of 1080p which renders it pretty useless for content creators.
