In shooting Everest, how about making it a little different from the existing heavy documentary format? I thought it was a video released in Vlog format. Rather than putting personal assessments, I wanted to capture the process of going up to the top with a little video over time. I wanted to give a feeling of walking with those who watched it, but I feel good because it was conveyed to some extent ^^
In fact, climbing Everest is getting more attention these days than as a great challenge, as a culprit of environmental pollution, or as a commercial means. In other words, it's not such a great social climb.
But apart from social standards, it was a mountain of dreams that I personally wanted to visit. I was able to meet a good opportunity, and there were hundreds of people with the same dreams, one moment, and one heading to the top, a meaningful experience that money could not buy.
Everest is no longer a 'mountain' mountain among mountaineers, but I think it is a big mountain for every person who climbs Everest. For me too.
My personal dream in this Everest expedition was to leave the Everest video as a video like this, and I am happy that the dream came true. Thank you!

You did an excellent job with your video. Thank you for sharing. And after watching a lot of videos about climbing Everest, you deserve extra respect for the way you treated your sherpa. Most "members" expect everything to be waiting for them, and never help with anything. Seeing you digging the snow and setting up your tent restored some of my faith in mankind. Much respect, and congratulations on a successful summit.

아무리 난이도가 낮은 상업 노말루트라고 해도 그건 전문산악인들끼리 말이고, 비전문산악인이 에베레스트 정상을 등반했다는 사실에 대단하다는 말밖에 안나오네요.

I''ve watched so many docu videos about Everest expeditions and only this gave me satisfaction. The documentation was so well-done, it immersed me into the experience. I felt like I WAS THERE.
I felt I was there also. I felt joy, exhilaration, fear. I swear I could even feel the cold as I jumared my way onward ans upward. A man asked me why I was climbing Everest? My answer was "because it's there". Cool huh dude.
I saw this twice and repeat all day, after watching the film the Everest Peak. I felt the same like I Was There too :D

I'll never look at a Sherpa in the same way again. I love these documentary style videos but most important, I love Sherpa. They truly are athletes and the stamina they have, wow! If they could bottle this energy, they'd be really wealthy. I'm so glad that they have found a way to make money, period. I don't believe they care about the money so much. They just want a better life and they do what they have to do to get it. It's a Sherpa making what is to him, alot of money so his family will be far better off. It's the way of the world, to always want to be a good husband, father and provider, just like anywhere else in this world. Cheers to all Sherpa and their loving families. 묶음으로 다시 봐도 너무 감동이에요. 스토롱맨 맞아요 아무나 못하는 걸 카메라 촬영까지 천재적인 촬영기술을 가졌어요
고프로인지 난 잘몰라도 크레바스건널때 입부분 비추는 모습 대단했어요. 사람은 긴장할 때 몸으로 표현되는 거보다 입모양으로
긴장감을 가장 리얼하게 나타낼 수있잖아요. 내년에 EBS에서 하는 다큐EDIF라는 프로그램에 출품한번 시켜봐요.
여행을 통한 다양한 노하우를 가끔 들려주는데 그것또한 아주 좋아요 어디서던 써 먹을거 같아요.

I love how you kept small moments in the video like boiling water, eating food, going through the food item. It's beautiful seeing someone at that altitude still mange to get through such things. I watch a lot of videos on mountaineering, this one is so far my favourite. No hideous music in the background, loved hearing ice cracking, air and originality. Lived every single moment. Every video I’ve seen to date on mountaineers climbing the great Mt Everest, I get to see a tiny piece more of her. Although I have not dream of climbing Everest myself… I respect all that take on the dream of summiting her! What I loved about this video is the positivity. Other videos have focussed on the danger part but this video is a fresh breathe of air about how truly astonishingly mesmerizing Mount Everest is. Your video is one of a kind, different from the usual Everest videos..a combination of a real and intense firsthand high altitude mountaineering, some good natured laid back humor and cuteness (I can't believe I use the word cute for an Everest video), very nice, upbeat and cute music and especially how you show the actual human interactions between climbers, it's like you humanize the whole experience, which makes it easy for us watching from the comfort of our homes to relate to. 37:17 해발 8400미터 발코니부터 지구는 둥글고 그렇게 너무 이쁘다는게 거의 모든 화면에 나오는데 감탄만 나옵니다. 좋은영상 감사합니다. 영상으로봐도 입이 다물어지지 않는데 실제로보면 말로는 설명이 안되겠군요.

Canadian climber. heard because of worn out rope he fell..very sad...41:28 too many people are jammed so delaying the precious time...heard that the more people the more money for them risking people's lives... too many people are climbing and descending at the same time.. what if the weather situation gets suddenly bad.. Congratulations for the mission accomplished!...
Traffic jam + bad weather = 1996 everest disaster
You're confused. That was on K2 which is nowhere near Everest.
This has been one of the best videos of an everest summit that i know of!

14:20 small piece of advise...for anyone, specially after this point (Camp 2) that boiling water is a great chance to inhale the vapors, that should give a little clean to your lungs, wich is not a bad thing to do considering your are going to rely very much on them specially from Camp 3 and ahead... Stay safe and above all.....focused. The mountain is ruthless and doesnt have preferences on who is spared and who is not....
