    I agree with comments claiming she's a Goddess of Order. Warp isn't necessarily Chaos - and its tides are shifting. During the days of the War in Heaven, Order dominated the Warp, and this brought upon a tide of Chaos. Now, when Warp is dominated by Chaos, it is only natural that a tide of Order should arise.

      All gods in combined warhammer universes are warp entities even if their sphere is more orderly and positive. The main chaos gods however try to hide that gods need not be vindictive entities, and Khorne, Slaneesh, Nurgle, and Tzeentch need not be the avatars of their spheres. Its also why the Emperor is a moron, since he actively tried to kill the god that would have protected humanity in paranoia of other warp entities.

      @ohamatchhams Před 5 měsíci +11

      Yeah, there are various types of warp gods in Warhammer 40K, the problem being both GW codex writing hyperboles and Black Library authors often overestimate Undivided Chaos and chaos gods' influences in The Warp to the point of claiming it to be "timeless" like they're omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, etc DESPITE THEY'RE NOT
      Also really hoping that rumor about chaos Necrons being untrue since that would break the Necrons' lore completely, since that would be on the level of Silent Hill Phenomenon concept being shoved into Silent Hill lore just recently too, stuffs like these would break up any good and proper foundation of the lore-building into something incongruent and way too messy to sort out

    • @Trazynn
      @Trazynn Před 5 měsíci +7

      @@ohamatchhams Yes, when authors run out of ideas they start filling in stuff that was deliberately left empty. Not every combination between races you can imagine is also something that improves the lore. Yes Tau didn't have a deity, that's what made them special. Adding a deity to them increases the lore, but also makes the setting more generic. Necrons worshipping chaos same thing. Ork mutated by chaos same thing.

    I'm not sure if you can count this as a chaos goddess. It would be more like a diety that's central to a particular culture like the Eldar with their insane fiery war god Kala Mesha Khaine (or just Khaine). Or the same with the Ork gods Gork & Mork. Not only that the Tau aren't big enough to have or make a major Chaos god like how the Eldar accidentally created Slaanesh. Others like Malice and Vashtorr have more presence.
    That being said, I don't doubt that it might be possible for Tau'va to manifest in or from the Warp. However that would be complicated because the Tau don't worship gods they just have their philosophy of the greater good and the pretty thorough indoctrination to obey the Ethereals.

      Here's the thing, the Bodhisattva worshiping was very prominent in Mahayana Buddhism, very popular in Northen India, Central Asia, and later China & Japan. Not so for Theravadan Buddhism. It was a product of great social upheaval & war.
      If the writers stick to Buddhism history, then Tau very likely may not suffer devastating civil war like Horus Heresy.

Regardless of psychoactivity, the Tau's thoughts and ideas project into the warp as clearly and any other race. Psychoactivity just determines how much you can affect the warp directly.
