I’ve been thinking about covering one of Chris Stapleton’s songs for a long time now but I just didn’t know which song to pick. I think Chris is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of our generation and I really didn’t want to disappoint. So last December in Hawaii we decided to cover “Cold” live while opening up for Earth, Wind & Fire! I really wanted to challenge our team and nail a one-take video in front of 8,000 people in one of the most beautiful and iconic places on earth.

His passion... sincerity and talent... Thank you Jonathan you are incredible and played a significant role in my healing and "Keeping me alive."

Jonathon's voice and singing style kinda reminds me of Joe Cocker a bit. Joe's gravelly voice often had a lot of emotion to it. When I watch Jonathon sing many times I have watched him sing with emotion and at times he is just singing for the pure pleasure of the emotion.
