Operating systems automatically clear the caches if more memory needed for applications. You don't need to manually do this, it will make the apps slower until it caches the data into ram. Also, in Windows it uses hdd/sdd as a virtual memory when needed similar to swapfile in linux systems.

Once i had installed pirated windows 10 on my pc at that time i didnt knew that installing pirated win may be temporary sol but now after 1-1/2 yrs its just lagging and also from some months now its asking for administrator rights i had installed win with microsoft acc at that time now i cant even install or delete any thing its asking for UAC and adminidtrator rights tho i put mine acc pass and gmail of microsoft acc then too its not giving me access to do anything not even changing wallpaper, password, installation, deleting files, etc
