Based on Marvel Comics' superhero character, this is a story of Peter Parker who is a nerdy high-schooler. He was orphaned as a child, bullied by jocks, and can't confess his crush for his stunning neighborhood girl Mary Jane Watson. To say his life is "miserable" is an understatement. But one day while on an excursion to a laboratory a runaway radioactive spider bites him... and his life changes in a way no one could have imagined. Peter acquires a muscle-bound physique, clear vision, ability to cling to surfaces and crawl over walls, shooting webs from his wrist ... but the fun isn't going to last. An eccentric millionaire Norman Osborn administers a performance enhancing drug on himself and his maniacal alter ego Green Goblin emerges. Now Peter Parker has to become Spider-Man and take Green Goblin to the task... or else Goblin will kill him. They come face to face and the war begins in which only one of them will survive at the end.

Not gonna lie when they got to the warehouse and Peter started acting like a spider and using the environment to his advantage, it was nightmare fuel

@@nicktroisi6347- uncle ben and Alfred probably
This scene man..the music, the direction, Peter’s labored breathing almost like a wolf foaming at the mouth ready to hunt down its prey. Just ahh *chefs kiss*
"Officer, no matter what do not give this man medical attention. He's needed for an origin story."

When my Uncle Ben was killed....
I hunted down the man who I thought did it.
I wanted him dead.
*I got what I wanted.*
🕷🕷🕷
It... didn't make it better.
Took a long time to learn to get through that darkness.
🕷🕷🕷
He DIDN'T kill him. But he still got his revenge anyway. He injured him, broke his arm... But he stepped back on his own which made him trip over something and fall through the window so he basically killed himself in the end.
Of all the characters in the Marvel Universe, Spider-man has always been my favourite.
He’s the goat just some broke kid tryna make a difference unlike Batman iron man and Superman he’s not perfect but he’s way more relatable also that drip just looks cool nothing more iconic than spideys suit
Same here. Spiderman’s my childhood hero
I am hardcore DC fan bcz from childhood days Batman was my favourite superhero but Spiderman is a character you will fall in love each and everytime you see ❤
@@tubbymontana7090the characters you mentioned aren't perfect either and have their struggles plus they are motivated by the same thing Spider-Man is so that's not a good comparison ..
@@Mithrandir0397 yea but they’re not relatable they’re either aliens or Demi gods with an endless bank account we can still cheer for them but Spider-Man hits deeper because stan lee made the mask for a reason so any kid or person can fantasize they were in the suit Spider-Man is the goat 🐐
It's been so many years and I still cry my eyes out at this masterpiece of a scene
Dear lord.
Epic
Same, every time too
@@chillouo9227 Same for me as well, I feel bad about Peter he wanted to go to lirbary but he wanted the money to buy a car to inpress MJ and he failed so so sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭

@Lorne Stinnett Nah that title belongs to Tobey Maguire sorry

I showed this movie to my 6 yr old cousin for the first time, and when we got to this part she asked me; “when does he start being Spider-Man?” And I told her that this IS him being Spider-Man for the first time
Exactly, this scene is the birth of Spider-Man and even for it being 20 years old it’s still perfect
Cliff Robertson brought us many years of great films over many decades and generations. I really respected him as an actor and I really enjoyed a lot of movies and tv series that he did over the span of his career and I think it was a great loss when he passed!
This is why he became a hero, just like Bruce Wayne.
"With great power comes great responsibility..." - Benjamin Parker
*That means she didn't die for nothing, Peter.*
🕷🕷🕷
Rocket: boring 😑
An absolute timeless movie.
I know I wasn’t the only one crying in the movie theater when this first came out
For me this is one of the most memorable moments in this movie. Not cause of Uncle Ben dying (though of course that does hurt) but Peter running, putting on the rest of his costume, the camera shots, the music it just really gets you going so much. This movie is amazing.
When I was with my ex girlfriend, I watched this with her while she had no prior knowledge of Spider-Man or anything marvel related. We had to pause this scene and take a break because she bawled for like an hour. That's how we know this movie is timeless, because even when we're grown up, this scene can draw such emotions from us.
Era la indicada bro, como la perdiste😢
1:32 The Revenge begins!!!
I look for him when I get bullied. He always gets the job done.
There’s nothing scarier than a spider man out for blood
God damn that guy is evil. After he's let go his responce is to laugh and attempt to shoot? Who in the fuck does that?!
The intro song gives me nostalgia. I heard it back when amazing spider man 2 came out for mobile devices and when I used to play it. Those used to be good times 😢
This was the time to use his web swing like a pro
This is how the origin of Spider-Man began
no pressure on the wound. good cops
Cliff Robertson's Uncle Ben was MILES better and far more genuine than Martin Sheen's.
Tobey Maguire is my favorite actor, who plays Sam from brothers and spiderman/ Peter Parker.
Vengeance is sweet...as Orca knew.
This is the moment Peter Parker became Heisenberg
Peter realizes he was the one who Killed Uncle Ben. He failed to do the right thing because he was blinded by his rage. In short He failed Uncle Ben.
Relates.
Lost my uncle 2 years ago due to a fatal head injury.
Well…. Peter only broke the guy’s hand or wrist to unarm him when the burglar held him at gunpoint. Technically the guy tripped over a pipe that was sticking out of the floor and crashed out the window to his demise. Peter was actually innocent here.
When was this movie remastered? Better lighting and even sound effects when he’s doing parkour and web swinging

where is the smiling scene?
Back when super hero movies were good...
We all miss these good old days
@@N1k4_Gr1v “good old days” ?
@@itsjustmollyyy4481let the ‘good old boys’ have their dreams about ‘the good old days’. They lost so much already and the fear of losing even more… It’s too much to bear. We must be sensitive to fragility.
@@noeraldinkabam you’re right I’m being a little insensitive to their situation 😂
I think it was cause people were more connected to reality. Aka not glued to a screen
Damn and I am searching the rice.....
I always thought he jumps like hulk in this scene
now that's what you call "learning on the fly"
😢
He is the only and real Spiderman
Three cops thinking it's more important holding back a crowd (that isn't moving forward. )
Than to offer first aid to an old man. The rest of the scene is cool tho.
What can the cops do they already called the paramedics? now they’re just keeping the scene under control

I've always wondered how many calories he needs to shoot a web.
Is he part of the spider verse
Its amazing how hard this movie hit back in the day. It beats any other modern spiderman movie today
G-forces anyone?

Every superhero movie is a boring overly bad cgi not funny yet throws in a bunch of cringe jokes parodies now. Disney ruined marvel
The death is so unrealistic no one dies like this

I grew up with live leak and that stuff is pretty accurate to this, coming in and out of consciousness, stammered words, 50-50 on whether they make much noise or not, I would say it’s pretty accurate
