- A short film I made earlier in 2023 when I went to Cirrolite in Northwest London. Through their mailing list, the distributors of Dedolight in the UK announced a new tabletop video/photo lighting system I simply had to try out with scale models.
Join me and Justin from Cirrolite as we play around with the new Lightstream reflected light tabletop system from legendary film & TV lighting market leaders, Dedolight of Germany.
It's a bit niche, but I love the crossover between models and the movies!

Thanks - that's very kind. I like to make the films I want to make in the way I want to make them...and that's about it! Videos like this one are not always massively popular, but if it helps someone, then that's fine by me!
Sure the price is for professionals, but the reflectors aren't that expansive. It may be usable with my collection of strobe.
At least, it gives a lot of inspiration for better light of small models.
Exactly, you could start with one light and some reflectors and build up from there, slowly, slowly. I might do that but I can sort of justify for my other sideline/job.
It's a good light kit for those who want to spend more time lighting a model correctly than building it. As for the price. It's just absurd.
Price is entirely normal for the pro market segment. It’s for professionals in the film, animation and advertising industry mainly. Dedolight products are used on Hollywood movie and TV projects. That said, you could start small and gradually build up a set tailored to your needs. Each item is sold individually: this was more an eye opener than any kind of recommendation!

Definitely! It’s £4K…if only I could somehow justify it…but I can’t. It’s roughly the price of another old BMW e36 😂!
