I must admit that the Rangers are the most spectacular among the rivals, it's always a thrill when the guys are pushing it to the metal at the top speed. I suppose the NYR and Tampa are a bit unbalanced in terms of defence but what a play! Cheers from Moscow
I hope NYR will not be as a bad example with President trophy. Unfortunately, we have had such cases with TBL in 2019 and Boston in 2023. Have a good luck, Rangers!
Me too, I would rather have not won the trophy bc it puts more pressure, and they won it in 2015 as well and lost in the 3rd round.

But they won't win the cup as Boston provided last year,the President cup means nothing, they will lose in 2nd round,and yelling MVP for Pannarin,years okay Conner McDavid, Austin Matthews,and Valerie Kusnewsken are way ahead of him,yes he had a great year but not MVP,and those great Rangers fans will be booooooooing them in Round 2,loser fans,them and Yankees will will nothing

They’re literally just a regular season team built to win regular season games. How many presidents trophy teams have won the cup also since they started giving away the silly trophy? Oh and how many cups have your original 6 rangers team won in the last 100 years? 😂 or screw it even the turn of this century? 😂

The last time we won the Presidents we made the Game 7 of the ECF and before that the last time we won it we won the Cup. So it's not like we have a history of underperforming after winning it. Although you never know. Maybe we will get knocked out in the first round two years in a row.

The Presidents Cup is the most useless award in sports, and usually means a quick playoff exit.
Having the best record in the league is great accomplishment. Not our fault the NHL (and every other sport) has too many playoff teams, devaluing the Regular Season. @michaelfalkner1186
