Kinda sad that most of these environments end up in a vault somewhere to only sparingly be used in other movies… would have been awesome if they would make them publicly available for rookie film makers/game makers that cannot afford to pay 5 digits per assets.

The VFX studios are definitely going to reuse them after making modifications. Making so many detailed models from scratch in a short period of time is impossible. Also the studios share assets with each other mostly with the character models
