2" WATTS LF009M2QT Backflow Rebuild

Here is a pretty standard backflow prevention assembly cleanout to make sure there is no build up of sediment or materials that might make the backflow assembly fail. After every clean out or repair we do we test the assembly to ensure that it is completely cleaned and passing.

Hi, water comes out from the bottom as soon as I turn it on. It seems that red gasket or seal is not reaching the silver piece on the bottom. Any advice? Apologies for the poor description

Yeah seeing how easy those checks came out of that 009 is telling me those are newly installed. Rarely a reality in the field.

Is this rebuild process the same for the 009M3-QT 3/4 model?
