I just heard this song in a Sheetz outside Columbus, OH. I haven’t heard a melodic bass and rhythm like that in the wild for YEARS. Immediately went to my vehicle & looked up “even when I make a mistake”, and wow, found it. THANK YOU FOR MAKING REAL MUSIC. What a treat after the past recent era of a musical wasteland. WOW.
Sharon is certainly one of my favorite solo artists of the past decade.

It's rather amazing to hear Sharon's evolution over the years, especially coupled with the excellent production on her new record. This is her move to popular music and I'm all for it, she's earned it her place in the sun. Her voice is still excellent, her message always on-point.
