I've been playing for 25 ish years and It makes me sad that I will never understand deep music theory. I can play some very tasty licks with great tones. I can make some very nice sounds. I am happy with my speed and overall technique don't get me wrong. I just don't have the brain for the deeper stuff like you do. Please don't take that for granted sir, you are amazing.
You are one of my favorite guitarists Mark. I love the baritone albums! You rock! If you get a chance to jam with Emil Werstler, or Ryan Knight (PRS guys as well) that needs to be recorded! Keep it up.

Another week another AMAZING guitar guest. What I love most about Mark is how tasteful and rhythmic his playing is. Yes, he can play fast and all of that, but more importantly, he always puts the right note(s) in the right spot with the right feel. And even better, sometimes it’s a note you didn’t think you wanted! Happy that guitarists like him are also getting signature models.

one of the hardest things for me to wrap my head around is how the hell im supposed to switch from chord stabs or chords to single not steccato stuff and have it all work together. i've never had someone be able to clearly break that down for me
