Cover #67. Time to rock it out with another Royal Blood cover. Back when I covered Little Monster, I strongly considered covering this one instead. Happy to now have both covered! This is such an awesome tune, and Ben's drumming is powerful and great. Now I'm choosing to play the intro and re-intro differently, Ben's always playing all of the snares with his left hand while I chose to go hand-to-hand. Either way works just fine! And my Tom-groove differs slightly from both their Studio version; where he have more than two toms setup, and their live version, where he chooses to play the opposite of me. So wherever I accent the hi-tom, he'd accent the floor tom and the other way around. The reason why I chose to do it this way is because it sounds closer to the studio version while still only being a 2-tom configuration.
For this video I'm also trying another lens on the camera. I've always used a wide-angle lens previously, but this time it's not! Do you see any difference? If you do, or even if you don't, how does it look to you?
Regarding the sound, there are no samples/triggers used what so ever. More reverb than usual for sure though, hah!
