The Connie Andromeda is an extraordinary ship, one of my favorites, but, there is a but. As the only ship you have pledged, I think the Connie Taurus is a lot better choice. You lose the snub fighter and the bottom turret, but you get double cargo capacity and a ship tractorbeam withch, now that it works, makes loading and unloading the bay a lot faster, even for vehicles. And it's 40$ cheaper too. So, overall, The Connie A gives you a lot more team gameplay, and the Taurus gives a lot more sole play and really gets you in cargo hauling with the 176 scu.

Indeed! I agree, I was annoyed that I was blown out of the sky like that, but that's part of what I love about the game, its hard edged gameplay.

For what it's worth, I think the Connie gives more value overall since you can haul with it, and it allows you to bed log too!

That is very compelling! And considering you can't properly redock the snub at this time so the extra hauling and tractor beam would be awesome.
