We were just there last Monday - Nov 28, if you are only in Mt Fuji for a day you do not need to get the “R” tour which is 2,800 yen for the package. Just buy the cable car ride and the boat ride if that’s what you only want to go. The bus ride is only 160 yen. The two cable car n boat ride was 1600 yen.

This makes me homesick (eventho Japan is not home).. I was stationed in Japan for 3 years, Just got back in the US this July.. visited Lake Kawaguchiko last year.. I recommend Hakone Ropeway, eat the black egg up there in the mountain (they say for long life)
