I wish every classroom teacher had your goal of making each kid the best she or he can be. Gifted kids and gifted horses are fun to teach but the world is better when everyone is at their best level of performance. Thanks for the important life lessons - human and equine - you purport every day. You are a wise man. Blessings.
When I was a Middle School teacher, I often had 160-180 students. What you are asking is impossible, even for the best, most hard-working, conscientious teacher. Add to that, disruptive, disrespectful students and very little support from the administration. Also, expectations from all sides, for teachers to be all things to all students. I loved the students and teaching, but I burned out and left for a different profession.
I’m a former teacher, and I completely agree! Our public education, at least in my state, pushes for test scores instead of actually teaching the individual to be all they can be. It’s very frustrating as a teacher, and puts you in a position of either teaching to keep your job and have high scores, or actually teaching the individuals in your room. My test scores were never very high, so that shows what was more important to me;). I was more concerned about the child in my room than how the district “looked” when the scores were released.

It's amazing to compete with a horse and have it running and everything, when it can't see a thing .Because there's so much hair in front of And covering that horse's eyes.. Where is the common sense?Why don't you put a horse tail in front of your eyes and see if you eyes with horse hair?Let's see you do it.
I guess horses have their fringes trimmed in the wild before they run anywhere?
